I hope this is the start of you getting to the top of the table. Nice to see your transfers work out well.

Hello, my new rival. You made some interesting transfers. Are you playing in the CL in the first season?
Enjoy the freedom of signing anyone you want with your so-called Basque club...

Whoa, thank you! Did you mean a club legend or a legend of this thread? If you meant the latter I disagree. But anyway, post the career here! I'm sure we'll enjoy it!

I agree with #FatherJamie2014. There's no need to fight for teams. You can always use the same teams at different times. Let's just be all friends here and the next thread will reach many more pages. And for everyone who's like "Wait a minute, didn't you just fight with Chico?", I think neither one of us was that serious. Right, Chico? RIGHT?!

So... what are we going to do for Fifa 15's thread? Keep posting here, ask for a name change or make a new thread?
yes im playing CL in the first season

In an off FIFA note. Truly mixed feelings about Liverpool's group. Real Madrid (damn), Basel (I can deal with that) and Ludogorets (**** yes. Although if Moti is in goal we're in trouble )

For Arsenal, tough group. Gala, Dortmund and Anderlecht. Chelsea, relatively simple. Sporting, Schalke and Maribor. Man City. Group of death. Bayern (again), CSKA (again) and Roma.

I think we will see all 4 english teams in the last 16. My predictions.

I went in for him and got him for 220k. I thank you for the recommendation. . Anyways, can you scout in Hungary? I got an offer, and if you can scout there I'm likely to accept it.

Welcome to spain Mister Griffin. How are you feeling here in spain?
Im doing good thanks, I have been settled in and getting used to the warm weather, In holland its mostly rain, so it is weird to have so much sun.

Lets talk about the transfer window and the squad, How did it go?
We got some good signings in the summer, With the likes of Enzo Perez and Fernando we really strenghtened the midfield. The team is getting along really well, and we are trying to fix our bad points.

You got 3 Points out of 3 Games, Thats not really great is it?
No it is not, We are having difficulties finding our Rythim, I found that vs Getafe we played really well, the score didnt show that. vs Atletico we just got outclassed by Diego Costa & Co. They are a difficult team to beat, Im proud that we still scored 2 times on Courtois.

              Thats everything for now.

Since my team (Feyenoord) is playing tonight, I will probably wont post an update anymore. Since i cannot find the time to play all those games.
And the atletico madrid game was from the First of september, but i figuered i had to show you, anyways, Enjoy

                    Complete league table #18

Comments: Nice two months. We won a good amount of matches, suffering a lot but we won, and that's the important thing. With the changes made in the winter transfer market, I hope we can reach 1.Bundesliga. We're all very similar teams, so we need to win next game against Köln, and open a good gap between the two direct promotion positions, and the third.

Jesé starts working very nice, and Marrone has increased a bit the level in defense, while Dodô is much better than any other LB I have. The problem is that some veteran players are starting to decrease their qualities, but with new young people I think we can still maintain the level, or increase it. We'll see what happens, now difficult matches are coming...

Yeah. Tbh Group C is so wide open, all 4 could win. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if Benfica don't make it through after selling their core. I opted for Porto cuz their signings have been boss. Tello on a 2 year loan is a great deal

*Promoted to FL Championship through League One Playoffs

We clinched automatic promotion to the Championship after the draw vs Bournemouth. This is the first time in club history that Dagenham advances to the Championship. The very next game was played by the B team which worked hard to get a W and clinch the League One title for us. I must admit the players did not celebrate this as much as they celebrated promotion from League Two. There was a sense coming into these last couple of months that we would achieve our goals without a doubt and it's almost as if the team is already focusing on the next challenge (FL championship). Nonetheless, the team did celebrate this achievement by once again lifting Paez onto their shoulders. The team understands that the league they'll play in next season will present a completely different set of challenges and it'll be interesting to see how they handle the upcoming transfer window to prepare for what's to come.

In the meantime there continues to be movement on the team's youth academy where Jamie Black left the academy after not being called up to the senior team months after turning 18-years old. We have not been able to confirm what Black's future will be like. Additionally there have been some additions and signings up to the senior squad as well as final reports from the academy. Here's the youth squad:

                        - Kenneth Hansen (LM/LW, 49-53, 68-72): The 16 Y/O from Denmark did not show a lot of improvement this season and will probably not be considered for a call up for at least another season
                        - Manuel Burchert (CM, 52-56, 69-73): There was decent progress from this 16 Y/O from Germany this season but we'd still like to keep him in the academy for another season.
                        - Seok Min Kim (RB, 61-65, 89-94): Kim has been someone to watch in the academy since his first day in it and his progress this season has been by far better than anyone else's. Now 16 Y/O the kid from South Korea has put himself on the radar for a possible call up especially considering neither Obeng nor Hoyte have been solidified as starters.
                        - Fernando Monzon (DEF, 64-76, 86-94): This 16 Y/O from Venezuela is following up on Kim's footsteps by impressing everyone at the club. He's projected to be a CB which means him and Miyoshi are the team's future at that position.
                        - Tim Brooks (DEF/MID, 59-69, 80-94): The 6'1", 175lbs yankee wrapped up a short stint in the academy this season by showing he could play either CB or CDM. He has a bright future since he's still just 15 Y/O.
                        - Emilo De Mesquites (CM, 49-57, 66-78): The 16 Y/O kid from Portugal is finally settled at a position but the team would like for him to go through a full season in the academy before promoting him.
                        - Victor Meyer (???, 50-62, 66-82)*: The second addition to the academy from the USA, we still don't have a lot to report on this 15 Y/O other than he seems to be very attack minded.
                        - Francisco Anibal (???, 53-65, 68-84)*: Another addition to the academy from Portugal, this 15 Y/O came in after the end of the season and as such we know very little about him.
                        - Goncalvo Guterres (MID/ATT, 38-50, 57-73)*: Our scout's first impression on this 15 Y/O Portuguese kid was full of high remarks but the little time he has spent on the academy hasn't lived up to that hype.
                        - David Antonio (???, 44-58, 67-91)*: The most recent addition to our academy is this local 15 Y/O kid who is very intriguing. Some staff think he could develop into a playmaker.
                        * Denotes recent addition to the Y.A. Anibal, Guterres and Antonio were signed after to the squad after the end of the season.

Shortly after the end of the season Sang Min Lee (LW, 52 OVR, 70-74 POT) requested to be called up and was signed by the team. The club hopes to receive loan offers for the South Korean prospect.

This will be a very interesting summer because Paez will have to figure out how to be actively involved in any moves the team might make while spending what he hopes will be a lot of time in Chile ...

The 2015 Copa America will start next month (June) and the groups have been finalized. The United States and Mexico will join the 10 teams from CONMEBOL in what is the oldest international continental football competition. Teams have been put in three different groups as follows:

Group A: Brazil, Uruguay, Ecuador, Bolivia
Group B: Colombia, Chile, Venezuela, United States
Group C: Argentina, Peru, Paraguay, Mexico

Paez and the FPF have a steep challenge ahead of themselves in a group where Argentina is the clear favorite. The two best teams from each group as well as the two best 3rd place teams will move on to the elimination round which starts with quarter finals. Peru will face Mexico on June 6, Paraguay on June 10, and Argentina on June 14. Paez has called his best players after evaluation from all the friendlies this season and reports suggest he thinks Peru can bring home the trophy.

                        That's all for now

obviously I'm absolutely AMAZED at the turn around in the scores as well as in the standings. I had no words at the moment so that gif was the best representation of my reaction to your update. The nice cushion on the scores I bet was sorely needed to get a positive GD. I'm excited for you man and you still have plenty of time to climb all the way to the top!

                                FC Nuremburg 1-2 Borussia Dortmund
                                Stark 12

                                Modric 62

Stark curled in the opener but Schurrle broke down the wing and smashed it into the corner. Modric struck the winner from distance.

                                Match 2

                                Borussia Dortmund 1-0 TSG Hoffenheim
                                Volland 24
Volland got the only goal against his former club after slotting in well from just inside the box after Benteke's 30 yard strike hit the post.

                                Match 3

                                Schalke 04 1-0 Borussia Dortmund
                                Boateng 32
Our first match without Benteke, and with no world class strikers it was always going to be difficult against our arch-rivals. Boateng curled in the only goal but we played well. Stand in striker Ducksch had some shots excellently saved and Howedes, against his former club had his header saved excellently.

                                Copa Europe

                                Barcelona 1-0 Borussia Dortmund
                                Busquets 30
An unlucky result. We played well and Ducksch came so close to equalising late on. The goal came after Tosell saved Neymar's strike but Busquets slotted in on the rebound. Reus came close a few times as well.

                                Match 4

                                Borussia Dortmund 3-2 FSV Mainz
                                Mkhitaryan 14
                                Kraus 20
                                Polter 33
                                Lukaku 61
                                Polter 85

Mkhitaryan smashed in the opener before Kraus slot in to an empty net from outside the box after the keeper rushed out to block Sahin. Polter slotted in but débutante £60 million striker thundered in a stunner. Polter chipped Toselli but it was too little, too late for Mainz.

                                Match 5

                                VfB Stuttgart 3-3 Borusssia Dortmund
                                De Jesus Santos 26
                                Lukaku 54
                                Ducksch 73
                                Barrera 79
                                Maxim 87
                                Subotic 90

What a game. De Jesus Santos slot in the opener but Lukaku struck from the edge of the box to equalise. He was bought off for Ducksch who curled in before Barrera smashed in to equalise. Maxim headed in what looked to be the winner but Subotic headed in from a corner to rescue a point.

                                Press Conference

So first of all, Christian Benteke has left. Why is that?

He didn't want to be here and I was able to sell to sell him for an amazing price. Plus we got one of the best strikers in the world to join us for £20 million after the sale.

He didn't want to play for Dortmund?

No he did not. He came to my office and handed in a transfer request. I don't understand why. I bought him into the team, he was great and he threw it in my face to join a team on decline. That's enough of that though.

OK. Why did you bring in Son and Lukaku?

Lukaku came to replace Benteke. Son is a world class winger.

                                Is that it?

                                Yes

You haven't had a great start to the season.

It's not been great but not bad. The side is brilliant. We have been unlucky. Now I am leaving.
