I like how the defense has been improved upon this year, but crossing routes and a good run game is still really hard to stop. I like how you can pressure the QB now, feels more realistic than having 10 secs to throw.

I really wish they would patch Online Teamplay back in, though.

Is stumble recovery still in the game ? Because I am getting tripped a lot and can't recover from it. And I must say pursuit is over powered in this game. I tried 5 screen plays with the Saints, got sacked 5 times because the pursuit of the defensive linemen were just insane on how fast they caught up to Drew Brees back peddling. Counter plays again once again lead to tackles for a loss.

EA needs to tone down pursuit. Makes no sense on any outside run you get met in the backfield majority of the time. Also makes no sense how a WR can catch a wide open pass and you go to turn up field and a defender comes from the far side of the field and chase you down within 5 yards.

Think I will lower the tackle slider because out of all the games I played, I look at stats and have 0 broken tackles. IMO EA made conservative tackle and hard hit tackle too even. Don't seem to matter which one you use, it is an automatic tackle. I shouldn't be seeing big backs brought down with 1 hit all the damn time. I shouldn't be seeing shifty backs brought down with ease either.

29 rushes with Ingram for 95 yards against the Bengals ?

So far I played against Charles, AP, Forte, Lacy, etc. and NONE of them have rushed for over 100 yards against me. I will lower the tackle slider to see if I can get some broken tackles and get this CPU running game going. Because as it stands now, the CPU can't run the ball to save their lives.

Have had great RB results from CPU. All-Pro and All Madden
Have thier run block at 100 on All Pro and User tackling at 35 I believe.
Still working on All MAddens et as I royally screwed up when I was testing (Game defaulted to All Pro and didn't know it lol )

Anyways I know you can get the CPU run game going. That's always the furst thing I make sure is good to go, or as best as it can be.

This game looks great. I do wish the colors weren't as washed out tho. Also, Aaron Rodgers looks goofy with the way his helmet /face looks. Looks like his face protrudes out way too far.


Also, Randall Cobb looks just like a bobble head. C'mon man!


And what's with the delay pre-snap when you're checking your routes? Is that an issue for everybody? Very annoying.

Are we able to turn off the down and distance marker that shows up on the field pre-snap? I don't see anything for that.

I just finished my first preseason, and it's a little disappointing seeing that Devin Hester, Stedman Bailey, and Bishop Sankey (a 2014 2nd round pick) have been cut by their teams

Defensive game play is slightly improved though corner and crossing patterns are still difficult to defend. Justin Smith and Michael Bennett are way too thin in the game, would be nice if we had the ability customize player sizes and skin color cuz Doug Martin is way too dark.

This is new Gen, dunno why we aren't able to get color accessories that goes with colored jerseys persay white sleeves with white jerseys, black sleeves with dark jerseys like NBA 2k. Many players are now wearing the RG3 look with one sleeve yet we don't get that option while NCAA of last gen did, as well as knee braces, lip guards, and certain neck braces are still missing. I'm sure saving size is not the issue knowing this is new gen. I know it's nit picking but if i'm paying 60 dollars for a game, I'd like to get what i'm paying for with numerous options to customize my own rosters.

So far the game itself is going in the right direction but would be nice had 2k gotten the chance to make a game.

Definitely a step in the right direction. Only played a few Play Now games so far, but all have been fun and enjoyable. Very solid game, I must say!

Ok, just played the Patriots for the first time. Can someone please explain something? Keep in mind I have the speed threshold at 0, so the fast guys can't be caught by the slow guys "theoretically". How can a fat lineman in Vince Wilfork chase down from behind and tackle a fast RB in Rashad Jennings? Breakaway speed AND space along the sideline, and a slow DT chases down and tackles a fast RB. This is kinda more rhetorical, but I'm just trying to show how ratings suck in Madden year after year. Wilfork shouldn't be chasing a RB down. MAYBE a TE, but NOT a RB.

Tell me about it. Almost EVERY screen I've tried (and I've done quite a bit already) has had a Defender right there blowing it up immediately. I've had ONE TD, a couple 3-4 yard gains, but mostly losses.

Speaking of losses, EA, PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!! Fix the flat receivers running backwards!!!!!!! If I throw to my check down receiver in the flat, they either run right out of bounds (even if I have room), OR more frequently, they run backwards either to get the ball, or right after reception and I take a loss. NO BUENO! Only time this doesn't happen is if the receivers stopped and he can catch and turn upfield. But if he's still running, it's a loss, every time.

Still getting alot of those suction tackles, the defender will dive and somehow miraculously warps in to tackle my feet.

Personally I've had good success as well as some get blown up. It's a heck of a lot better than M25's auto TD 90% of the time on screens lol
