    Defending a specific offensive player

Is there anyway to specifically man up a WR, RB etc.
Like if I want Jimmy Smith to follow A.J Green all game, is that possible, I know it was in some previous versions not sure if they took it out or not as I can't find it.

i wish, madden had that in madden 11 or 12 i think and it was one of my favorite part when playing defense, it makes your highest paid cornerback worthwhile. it was disappointing when they didn't have it in the last few madden.

It never worked correctly and was really buggy/glitchy. Omitted for a reason - hopefully it will be retooled and re-issued next year. Would've been a good year to include it being that defense was such a focus.

Exactly, you could have your top cornerback follow the opponent's best receiver all game long, no matter where they lined up. Now, if the CPU puts 3 WR's on the field and the slot receiver lines up on a certain side, they'll be covered by a linebacker or safety when your slot corner is covering the HB or TE. Very annoying to have to change the play to zone or try to flip the play before they snap it or burning a timeout.
