Introduction
Greetings faithful FCS Football purists, YES we are back for another year of the NCAA Football FCS Team Directory Project for NCAA Football 14. Many thought that this project would meet its demise with the unfortunate cancelling of the NCAA Football franchise by EA Sports. As long as we have the tools to keep the project alive, we will continue with creating all FCS teams just like last year. For those of you who may not be familiar with this initiative, this thread is designed to provide you with the most accurate up to date content regarding FCS teams to import to NCAA Football 14. Through the use of EASports’ Teambuilder tool, our community of talented FCS team & roster creators are dedicated to what we do. We pride ourselves on bringing you the most authentic FCS teams with accurately rosters, uniforms, stadiums and program ratings. You WON’T find this collection of talent on any other website but OPERATION SPORTS!!!!!!


The History:
The idea for this thread began over 4 years ago with NCAA Football 11, where several NCAA football enthusiasts came together to replicate the FCS teams and now it has become a huge success across the NCAA football gaming community. That collective group of individuals worked great together to share feedback to one another as well as the community regarding their teams to make them as accurate as possible. That same philosophy is continues today to deliver to YOU the best experience you can have in NCAA Football 14.


So how does the project work?

All you need to know if you want to download these teams is check out the "Dashboard" below to see if your favorite team or any team in general has been created. If you don't see a team you’re looking for has been created, by all means post a request for it to be added and it will be completed as soon as possible.
-You will see a “Creator/s OS Name and Teambuilder Name". Next to the team in the dashboard
-If a team has a creators name listed, all you need to do is click the name that's in the dashboard and you will be routed to the exact post with all the details for that team.
-When you locate the actual post, it will have plenty of details regarding that team such as a link to the teambuilder site to review the rosters, uniform, stadium and many more details.
-You will also see a TIMESTAMP that has a date and time associated with it to help locate the correct team from within the game’s search engine.

What is a Timestamp?

Since all teambuilder data can be shared across both the Xbox 360 and PS3 you can download anybody’s team creation but there is some extra searching involved if you’re trying to download a team that was created on the opposite console. For example, I create all my teams using my Xbox 360 profile, see below for an example of what you will need to do if you're a PS3 user.

Steps to download Teambuilder creations on Xbox 360/PS3

1. Go to the TEAM MANAGEMENT menu
2. Select TEAMBUILDER
3. SEARCH SCHOOLS
4. SCHOOL TYPE: FCS
5a.XBOX 360 users only: Go to AUTHOR > SPECIFIC GAMERTAG> Enter the users gamertag
5b. PS3 users can use all search filters necessary and when you get to the search results screen use the timestamp that is provided in the post# for each team to find that exact team because you WILL NOT see a gamertag(for PS3 users) or a PSN name(for Xbox users).
PS3 users please keep note that if a timestamp is in a eastern timezone, you will need to convert based on your timezone to locate teams. Example: If a timestamp is 7:00 PM EASTERN timezone and you live in CENTRAL timezone, then it will show up in your SEARCH RESULTS as 6:00 PM.
6. Once you see the team you want, select it by choosing either: PREVIEW UNIFORM, PREVIEW ROSTERS, or SAVE SCHOOL.
7. To select the team in PLAY NOW mode, they should be located right before AIR FORCE. You can also IMPORT them to use in your DYNASTY.
8. For Dynasty Mode, you will need to have the team already downloaded and you will need to replace a FBS school with them and they will assume that slot in that conference unless you want to manually change their conference.

How can I contribute to the FCS Team Directory Project?

You can help contribute in a few ways:
1. You can provide constructive feedback regarding any of the teams created supported by reference links.
2. You can greatly assist by providing rosters/depth chart information as many FCS schools do not have information readily available as quickly as the FBS schools, especially upon the release of the game.
3. You can even become a team/roster creator BUT YOU MUST FOLLOW THE GUIDELINES. FAILURE TO DO SO WILL NOT GET YOUR TEAM ADDED TO THE DASHBOARD.

This file contains several tabs and contains extremely valuable information when trying to edit specifics regarding team characteristics such as:
FCS Tab:

FCS Team Data: Has 2011 win/loss records, offensive and defensive rankings and overall rankings. Recommended prestige star rankings, Recommended Defensive aggressiveness rating, and Pass %(you must use these so the teams play realistic to the types of plays they call in real life). Also recently added is a "Nearby States for Roster Base" column to aid you choosing a more appropriate roster base to enhance the "Dynasty" recruiting experience.
Posting Template(Optional but HIGHLY Recommended): Also a helpful posting template to use when you have completed a team and are ready for others to review and download it. When you are ready to create a new post, just copy and paste the posting template in the blank field and enter your information in the correct areas.

FBS Tab:

Play styles: Currently based on NCAA 13 but is has the offensive sets each team runs...will update when game is released
Clothing Brands: Based on NCAA 12; you can check the branding(Nike, Adidas, Under Armor, etc) of what each team wears to match your created team...will update when game is released

Playbooks Tab:

All Team Formations: Updated for NCAA 14; see the entire playbooks for all FBS teams, this is important when you are looking for a playbook that matches the team you're creating...will update when game is released

Rating Definitions Tab:

Understand the effects of each rating as its VERY IMPORTANT to what each rating category means for "on the field" play and reaction. This tab also contains some additonal All Amreican information in addition to the Phil Steele document shown above.
