2K Sports has revealed some NBA 2K15 player ratings today. They will start from the lowest rated players and continue to the top of the league.

Well Damn...they have the Raptors pick Bruno Caboclo the #20 pick in the draft being the worst player in the game?..lol Surely he has more value than Alexis Ajinca

Not much can be said just with overalls but I don't see anything weird here. I'm curious to know what will be Dante Exum's overall because he shouldn't be much more than a 67.

EDIT: Even being Spaniard I have to say that Claver is very overrated with that 66!

Looks like over 400 players in the game will be rated between 70 and 90.this makes the individual ratings be the judge of a players skill as it should be

These are the lowest ratings for players on a team in the out of box roster, yes.

The best part of NBA 2K Rank is you can see the ratings relative to one another. It is one thing to say "Player A should be an 85" and another to say "Player A should be higher than Player B". What an 85 means to one person might be different than what it means to another, as far as a players overall value goes. It all depends on the league as a whole and how their rating compares to other players. Now we will be able to see where the players rank compared to others as well as seeing what their overall value is. And the most fun part that comes with that are all of the great debates!

My only concern with ratings being as high as this is if players will be happy having various roles.

In previous 2K, there appeared to be an arbitrary number that once a players rating hit they wanted a different role. Usually 65/66 ish players want to be at least a role player so I am concerned that this will have a negative effect because this list is essentially many of the benchwarmers/garbage time guys in the league.

Can anyone confirm there ratings impacting on roles in 2K15?

I will be doing a fantasy draft with the 12 lowest rated players in the league and simulate a season. Should be interesting to see how that turns out.

I hope they at least have his 7'7 wingspan in the game. I guess I'd understand if his arms are so long anything more than a 64 would make him OP. But if they give him a normal wingspan ala older 2k games he would be useless

I hope they don't shaft the rest of the Raptors

in last year's ratings system Boris Diaw and Patty Mills was in the low 60s
So it looks like everyone is getting re-rated, which I am happy with.

I know people say Overalls don't matter, but for association purposes the CPU always puts the higher OVR in the staring lineup. Using the Raptors as an example Landry Fields started for the Raptors over Terrence Ross and Chuck Hayes over Jonas.
