This is some very sad stuff. Still no news about what's gonna get patched in either. I knew they had something to hide, but I didn't think it was this severe. Can't wait to see the sales of this game.

And they didn't release next gen NHL 14 because....................???????? So basically, this is only good for random games (online and offline) and HUT, and only 2 players until OTP is patched in. HUT 15 is a better name than NHL 15. 360/PS3 is the way to go if you didn't get rid of the old system yet. Unless of course, there's a surprise, and things are taken out of that.

Wow, if all these missing modes, features and options are truly out for next-gen, this is pretty brutal.

I was already skipping NHL15, because I'm primarily an EASHL player and I'm not upgrading to PS4 yet, but happy for those who felt it was worth taking the plunge. I just don't see how this could possibly justify a full price now. I get they focused on presentation and it looks like they've done a bang up job, but that's one aspect of the game. All these missing elements is going to lead to a marketing and PR nightmare.

I don't blame the devs, but it's clear the resources EA allocates to the NHL series are not sufficient to justify a game with this many modes. They simply can't work on them all and things like Live the Life, Be A Pro, Be A GM and any offline mode are going to take a hit.

It's a shame. First titles on next-gen usually are pretty bare bones, but there's much more competition for my dollar than when I upgraded to PS2 and PS3. I'm not settling for half or even a quarter of a game anymore.

Quite a week for EA as a publisher. First the Sims 4, which is missing much of what the sims 3 had, and now this. At least the Sims will probably get most of the missing features through expansions (which cost plenty of money).

I'm sorry but this is your job and you had 2 years to do this. I understand the fanboys always saying "oh they spend so much time on this, be appreciative of a game", hell no, this is just down right disgusting oh such a stripped down version of the game is being provided AND STILL charging full price. This is the ultimate slap in the face to all NHL EA buyers and loyal gamers. You spent 2 full years on this, and the focus was on arenas instead of one of the most played modes which is EASHL. I can't even edit players?!? I can't draft any picks in BE A GM?

This is unbelievable, sure Sean Ramjagsingh has a family and all that, but guess what, it's the business world. You put in the time and put forth results, and these results being shown is not indicative at all of a 2 year time period. This is just down right insulting to the fan base and pretty much says "oh who cares just gives them new arenas, get rid of 80% of the modes, and those idiots will still buy the full game at the full price".

Not a buy from me at all - absolutely appalled at the entire EA NHL team for this debacle this year.

I really wish there was competition in hockey when it comes to gaming. I miss the good old days on PS1 when you had 4 different hockey games you could try, I hate this monopolization.

Absolutely embarrassing. Looking forward to the PR in the coming days/weeks about not having enough time to get all the features in and how sorry they are and how they'll give us a free HUT card pack to make up for it.

Definite no buy for me now. Honestly, I'm mostly just a "play now" or season mode player, but just on principle, I'm not spending $60 on such an incomplete title. I don't need a hockey game that badly with so many other games to take up my time.

They only need to post their ETA in patching some of theses features in and everyone will be jumping on it. Not that difficult. They are probably trying to figure this out as we speak. Give them a few days.
