    save during game on ps4

    Just got new ps4 never played before can I save during a game if so how please

    It autosaves. Just quit, you're good.

    edit: to be clear (reading below there's confusion here), I mean quit the application. Like hit the PS button and quit; quitting the game won't save it.

      during playcall screen, pause game, then shut off your system


      does not work for online CFM

        Yeah, if you quit outta the game it won't save, I learned the hard way. You have to shut your system down and restart for it to let u continue when you restart...

              that's kind of dumb if you have to turn off the system to save the game. Why not just quit? That doesdn't save it?

                i believe it more of a safety net in case you lose power or something

                  That is just nonsensical. NBA 2k had a save game option for their game 4 years ago. Was simple and worked perfectly . How does turning off the console seem like a better feature?

                    This is a save through the ps4 system, not through Madden. As mentioned you don't have to restart the system you just have to close the application and your progress is automatically saved.

                    You can use other applications and then go back to your madden game (did it last night. Played a half of madden, then played a round of TGC before going back and finishing my game, all without a restart).

                    You can't however do anything else when returning to the application, your two choices are to pick up where you left off or do something else and lose the progress.
