Based on the video I just watched on youtube, There are no option to draft.
The CPU do it for you, you have to sim it.
This is unbelievable, Anyone else can check it? Thank you.

I really doubt that it's an intentional cut and it's probably a bug.

From Rammer Interview:

SR: In Be-A-GM, you have the opportunity to control your own franchise and guide them to a Stanley Cup. All of the basics of the mode are there: there’s free agency, trading, and the rookie draft. You can play up to 25 seasons as well. The core of that mode is there.

It's impossible to release a mode called "Ba a GM" without the rookie draft as it's one of the most important function of a GM.

Anyway the game obviously needed at least another 6 months of development.

There is still a rookie draft in the game. You just are not the one controlling anything to do with it. So, technically he was not lying. You have to learn Rammer speak to decode what is actually be said sometimes.

I think you make a good point here. And while I'm not a computer game programmer it would seem to me that this might be something that's relatively easy to fix in a patch. And to be quite honest, this is something that I can actually look past. But it would definitely be nice to be able to scout and draft players that you actually pick out.

Okay...I hope that you understand that the NHL 15 for 360 is EXACTLY the same as NHL 14 save for some new rosters. There are no new features, no new animations, no new tweaks to gameplay....nothing. It is basically just NHL 14 with the number 15 glued over top.
Save your money and just keep playing NHL 14 with some (hopefully) new revamped rosters.

Perhaps, but I prefer to pin my hopes that a company like EA does the nice thing. They typically don't.

Is this the same setup as GM Connected where the user sets up a draft board then it auto drafts based on your rankings? If it has the draft board, I'd assume the auto draft is intentional. If not, maybe it is a bug.

I don't think it is a bug. It is how they intended it to be. Why are people having such a hard time accepting that this is not a bug or glitch? I mean it's not like the rest of the game is missing a ton of other details or anything.

Rammer tweeted that a new draft is coming. But at this point I just don't know what to believe with this series. The optimistic side of me want's to say they will release a patch to fix most of our gripes. The realistic side of me is saying save your money this year.

In the middle side of you should just say that you would wait and see what all is patched in and if it is enough then maybe pick the game up then for a cheaper price, or a used copy.
