    How to improve?

I'm having trouble playing on all Pro. Too many interceptions, can't get a run game going. Get beat deep on D.

How do I get better? Skills trainer, improve my play recognition? (Not the best as I'm in Australia)

Has anyone been able to lift their game recently and would care to share how.

I would obviously use the training options provided. There's also many videos posted online with tips and tricks already. Have you tried running it on Pro? Practice makes perfect buddy. Once you're kicking tail on Pro you should be able to compete on All Pro, if all training methods and quick fixes fail.

          Learn to read the defense.

          Learn to audible.

Don't call hike as soon as you get to the line, hard count and try and get defense to show their cards, then adjust accordingly.

Finally, maintain a balanced offense (I know it's tempting to air it out), the defense will catch on to patterns.

If the skills trainer doesn't help then yeah just take your time. I do think depending on what team you play as will depend on the difficulty, like you will find it better and easier with teams like broncos or Seattle, and harder with teams like the jags or browns

Being only a casual observer of the NFL, this is harder than it seems!

Basically, if I see zone, I look for short slants. If I see man coverage, I look longer.

When all else fails, look for the open man.

Do you think the game caters to heavy use of strategy?

The most important thing to look for is the safeties. If there are two safeties deep, you know it's a cover 2, one safety deep, it's cover 1, and so on - you can send a man in motion to find out if it's man or zone, and hard count to pick up the blitz.

Personally, if I see the defense in cover 1 or cover 0, I spread the field to put as much pressure on the defense as possible; give myself a quick passing option (because you can pretty much expect the blitz), and send at least one receive deep (all he has to do is beat his man off the line).
