For those of you concerned about edit player. Rammer confirmed it will be back in. He just couldn't give a timeframe. Help get this word out

yeah...we all assumed it would make it's way back into the an NHL game.....at some point. His wording is extremely non-committal as far as NHL 15. I actually find his response frustrating because it's more of the same from him, answer by not really answering. This guy should have been a politician.

I swear I don't understand folks who were like "This game is a joke, it's missing so much" to "they are planning to add _______in a patch at some point, I AM NOW DEFINITELY BUYING THIS GAME !!!!! ALL IS FORGEVIN!!!"

So you were all mad when they buggered you hard and now that they are promising to pull out a little...s'all cool. You all are too forgiving.

Ah...I do see your point with the metaphor. However I absolutely disagree about the trolling. I was simply expressing my disbelief in the flip-flop I am seeing by some folks after being thrown a bone. So long as I am respectful, I see no reason why it would be considered trolling. Or am I missing something?

The player editing is huge for a leafs bagm player. William Nilander is only a 3 red star in the game. Examples like that are why we need to be able to edit.

Rammer, been buying NHL since I begged my parents to get a Sega Genesis in 1993. Tomorrow will mark the first time in 21 years I am not buying the NHL series.

EA's model is based on it's sales.

I would start updating your resume man, good luck.

So this has been a tough year for me as a sports gamer. First NCAA football gets canceled and now my favorite game of all time is a shell of it's former self. As an old time gamer season mode was it for me. And no player editing? EA did this with Madden a few years ago as it seems EA is just pushing everything towards on-line play which sucks for old time gamers like me you enjoy offline sim experiences. Either way I just can't understand how anyone from the NHL development team thought these subtractions would be a good idea? And why not just push back the release date?

This will be the first time I am not buying an EA sports hockey game on release week since 1994 I think.

Please for once just do something with the AI. Add in neutral zone pressure as a slider and fix the bad logic your AI teammates and CPU AI have. Honestly there are such glaring issues with the actual gameplay itself that these new "additions" to the game just just don't cut it. Also can we please get Custom AI to work in Be A GM and all of the other modes? As the game stands now it is the only way to enjoy this game. I will not buy this game until the lack of neutral zone pressure is fixed and Custom AI can be used in Be A GM. Those are the two bare minimum things I need to enjoy the game.

Also I'd like to know if the 3 stars means the presentation at the end of the game, or if it's just some post game menu option like it has been for the past 3 years when they took out the actual presentation.

Defense is still a B* in this game. I have to take control of my players, even someone like Petro, because if I don't, he's schooled like a 3rd line defenseman.

For the 3 stars.. I've always wondered why they took out the presentation in video form... I loved that. From the pics, looks to me like it's going to be the same old text form.

So can we start a BeaGM career tomorrow or do we have to wait for patches because they won't work unless you create a new BeaGM?

I think everything has been said. You either perceive value or your don't. I think there is a fair amount of people who will wait and see before buying. That's perfectly acceptable and there's the group who will live with the shortcoming until it get patched. Also acceptable.

There is no point in stating the same thing over and over again. OS is starting to sound like a broken records. Vote with your wallets. Its the only way things will change.

It just becomes more clear every year that EA sports in more concerned with things like HUT because it brings in more revenue than it is with putting out a solid simulation sports video game. It's no coincidence that MLB the show NBA 2K are two of the better sim games year after year.
