Does Doc have this trademark excited "SCORE" in this game? Has anyone heard it? Played the XboxOne EA Access and didn't hear it once, however only played Play Now games. I

Is it different in Season Mode/ BeAGM?

Doc is definitely more in tune with the game than he was with the demo. I have not yet heard his excited "score!" call yet, but the commentary is definitely better. Edzo and Ferraro are solid as well.

In a HUT game with about 48 seconds left the CPU scored and Doc let out a very excited "SCORE!" it wasn't his trademark "SCAAARES!" from TV but it was definitely more excitement than usual.

Is Scouting and Drafting any different in the PS3 version? I think I'm getting confused about what's been changed in the XBONE and PS4 vs. 360 and PS3. I thought I saw somewhere that they had changed the draft to be more like Madden 25 (which means it's more like Head Coach '09, and a major bonus IMHO) where the picks happen on a timer, you can trade within the round, etc.

If that has changed on XBONE and PS4, but not on PS3, I need to return my copy (PS3) to amazon post haste.

Any updates on the PS3 version and how it's different from '14 are appreciated.

Can you play as any of the minor league teams in "play now" mode? If so can you direct me to a list of what teams are avaialable and answer what arenas they play in? I assume something generic.

I played a few play now games with a buddy and we heard Doc's excited "score" twice, both of them were at the correct moment, one was a third period goal with about 12 seconds to go and the other was an OT winner.

So would you say the timing is better on the commentary than in the demo?

In the demo, I consistently felt the commentary was "behind the action".

I don't know how it is on the PS3 but for the PS4 it is very limited. Right now on PS4 scouting is the same as it was in previous versions, there is just a new menu for it (a map which lists how many prospects each country has). The draft is fully automated you have no control over it and you never see it, the CPU simulates it for you. There is a new draft coming in a patch in October which supposedly has the timer.

I didn't play the demo so I really can't say. Overall the timing in good, there are a few drops in the action but nothing alarming. We really only played 4 games and then messed around with Be a GM so more testing is needed.

Ha, ok... I just popped over the "after launch" thread to see how much of a sucker I am for pre-ordering this game. I might as add three months or more to any EA release date.
