for reference last year about 70 players were rated 80 or above.

The moment when a vet's rating gets released and is the same as Embiid's I can only imagine some peoples responses.

I personally think defense, rebounding and potential is a huge reason for the rating boosts. But with the new injury system I think having Embiid rated that high is a great risk/reward gamble that they are trying to show this year.

Yep, consistent injuries and he'll retire. Just like some of the devs said is possibility.

Overall ratings aren't that big of a deal to me, I'm more excited about seeing the screens. As long as the players play like themselves I'm good. Don't want Marshall keeping up speed wise with Rose or Kyrie, being able to guard them one on one and stay in front of them, don't want to see him going down the lane dunking.

Don't want to see Embiid making 3's and handling the ball like a PG. That is the most important thing to me..not the overall rating. Players play like they're supposed to and I'm happy.
