Got a game in with these this morning, felt pretty good all around. Had something like 7 penalties called against me and 3 against cpu, I need to learn to lay off the poke check haha. Cpu actually felt more aggressive on defense than with the modified superstar hardcore sliders I came up with. Going to get more games in with these for sure, thanks for posting them

Yeah I really like the speed of shots, passes and overall gameplay with these. And seem to be getting good amounts of penalties.

Tried these out in a play now game: tampa (me) vs colorado. Seem to play good, im far from a avid hockey fan, score ended up 2-1 Colorado. I cannot win a faceoff to save my life, and they had like 40 shots on goal to my 30. Assume from me just trying to figure controls and defense. Only difference I changed was auto lines on. Anyway to keep camera going same direction? When half switched me to top to bottom, I struggled with controls, like to keep same way whole game. Nice set though, played realistic , saw several fouls and power plays on both sides.
Also, if you you start a beagm, do sliders stay the same I entered in main menu? Or I have to reenter?

I have only played in play now so far. So I am not sure about be a GM mode. As for the camera. Just change camera perspective from alternate to always up. Keep plugging away. You have to play real hockey to enjoy these.

I played a few more games last night and made an adjustment to the faceoff difficulty. When I was a team with weaker faceoff men I wasn't winning any at all. And I know that even when one team is weaker than the other they still manage to win some. So 3 was the sweet spot for me. Next I might lower pass speed 1 notch to lower the amount if cross ice one timer goals. Stay tuned.

I will be going with these for now. Played 3 games last night and had 3 amazing different style games. Random teams. This is the best version on NHL since 94. I will be starting a GM very soon. Just waiting for any game updated before I do.

I'm going to give them a try tonight. I'm still searching for a "perfect" slider set for me.

I have used al_tito's with a few tweaks, but I am still finding an issue with my SV% and shots against...I will have a good game, pretty competitive, close in shots, but then last night, I outshoot a Montreal 43 - 20 and lose 6-3, with 9:00 TOA to their 4:00 - just not realistic.

I play 8 min periods...I'll post screens from my stats pages after the games, get we can get a sense how they work on shorter period length.

Ok sounds good. These ones are playing perfect to my ability. Getting very lifelike stats and everything. Proper ice time for players. Depending on your lines obviously. And when I score I feel like I earned it. With goalie reaction time at 6 you will see desperation saves. But you can still score from the point or a slapped or wrist shot down the wing. I hope they work for you.

Do you mind if I post some screens in your thread here? I don't want to spam it on you...But if you're OK with it I will post my stats screen after the next 5-10 games (assuming they won't be a write off after one game). This way it will give others the opportunity to see some real stats right from the screenshot.

Great...I won't be playing until later tonight, I'll make sure I get a couple up. I'm curious, from what you've posted, the SV%/SOG/TOA doesn't seem to be an issue for you, what about hits?

I used these and played a few randomly selected games.

First, I was Arizona and defeated Detroit 5-1. I was outshot by one 39-38. It felt pretty good but the AI seemed very inept. Howard passed a puck out directly in front right to me for an easy goal.

Next, I was Dallas and defeated Chicago 2-1. I bumped the time down to 8 minutes and the shots were 27-26, their advantage. A much tighter game, good ebb and flow. Lehtonen made some sick saves to preserve the W.

Last, I was New Jersey and defeated Toronto 6-1. Bernier got beat twice on breakaways by Clowe and Cammalleri, with two five-hole goals. I outshot them 31-17.

All in all, I think 8 minutes is perfect for a little more realistic shot total. Pretty even on penalties, about 4 per game (2 each). I play pretty clean, just get a boarding call here and there. :-) I will likely use these to begin GM mode. Thanks and I hope the feedback helps!
