Creating prospects for Be a GM draft?

There are some people on EA's forum that seems to be unable to create prospects and put them in the draft. Can anyone confirm this?

Honestly, I'd be very surprised if we CAN do this.

He said that when he tried to create a player born in 1998, he has to choose a pro team to put him in, there were no NONE choice. I can't play NHL 15 right now since I'm in college and my Xbox in at home, can anyone check this for me? THanks

Hi There,
It was me that posted this on the EA forums, and as far as I can see this can't be done....unless I am missing something.
You cannot select NONE for the created players pro team, so you are forced to pick a team, and they just end up in that Pro teams farm system when you start BaGM.
Also, I did place the player on an OHL team, and this didn't seem to matter
Hopefully someone finds a way around this

From what I can see, if you create a player born in 1997 or 1998, even if he is on a pro team, he doesn't appear in your Be a GM at all, not even in the draft. Can anyone help me with this?

I created a player, born 1998 (which is the only way by the way to have his 'year drafted' as Undrafted)
-If you put 1997 as birth year, it defaults and stays at 'Year drafted' as 2014, and you cant change that.
-Then I picked a Pro team for him, Because you HAVE TO (****ing stupid)
-I place him on a CHL team
-I start up a new BaGM, and the 16 year old kid is on that pro team, as undrafted.

I too, hope someone figures this out, or offline GM is going to be really stupid, even when they fix auto-draft thing

There should be a way.

At least we have something new, we can put the exact contract length for prospects. In NHL 14, I ended up we a bunch of one year contract prospect. I can now have them to a entry-level three year deal. That's awesome.
