Ok I know someone kept complaining about no goals from the point by Dmen and I just scored another Seabrook on Quick and Im playing with Altitos sliders so I gotta debunk that one and once again its not easy and no in game sliders saves stink but its all about finding your skill level .

FINALLY I find the solution to END MY "CRITICISM" and "NEGATIVITY" about this game!!!!!

No...its not having the right sliders that will correct this game or to become close to the real NHL..................

I am back playing MLBTS-RTTS

hate to waste my time, energy and electricity playing this game. IF EA will update it and making it more appealing to "hardcore" gamers then I'll keep it....if not...go to walmart and exchange it....since they seldom ask for the receipt. Glad this game was a freebie from my nephew.

One of the cool things I just noticed is that you can shrink the size of the score overlay to a smaller size if you didn't like how big it was originally

At first I thought you couldn't position lock in Be a GM but turns out you can. Used to be you had the choice to do it before the game and that's gone (At least as far as I could see). But you can still pause the game before it starts and go to Choose Sides and from there get your position lock on.

Just had a goal against me in the 2nd period where I was shadowing Ovechkin around as he carried into my zone and I followed him as he skated back up high near the blue line and picked up a rebound from a blocked shot from the point. Then he turned, all of the sudden, and wristed one on net. At first I was like oh he was out of room and just getting rid of it, cool.

Then I noticed it went in. And then I noticed I had no goalie in the net. The replay shows Fleury behind the net and near the no-play zone and being knocked into repeatedly by Johansson. Haha wtf? I recorded it, but probably too much trouble to upload it.

I've always been a huge fan of the nhl series. But this year is a no go for me. Im very unimpressed and disappointed with the demo. The gameplay and animations feel clumsy to me. The game does not have much fluidity. I hope they take a lesson from fifa 15 and realize the sluggish movements and animations need to go.

Do Adboards change per stadium in the full game ? The demo did not when it was the Rangers and Kings at their stadiums.

Had a crack on a PS4, used Altito's sliders, true broadcast cam and the game was so good. Dumps in by both teams. I was dumping in just to change up my lines. A reasonable amount of CPU bull has been nullified despite that beserker mode is still in the game even on these sliders. I really didn't like the game on Xbox One, either the demo or the early release. Much preferred the feel of the game through the controller on PS4 with the demo. Only played a couple of Play Now games but had some fun. The controls are still a bit squirelly at times. Still, liked the gameplay with Altito's sliders.

Last gen it was the exact opposite, could only play NHL on 360 because of the controller, a bit off topic but I find the PS4 controller to be much better than the Xbox One. I'd put the Xbox One controller 3rd behind Ps4and 360.

What your looking for is strat o matic hockey great stats and nothing but random dice rolls and I think its on cpu too now so once again this is a impressions thread so if you have a agenda or ax to grind call EA or go to there website and stop trying to scare everyone off of the game as we all know of its mode short comings as some of us just want to enjoy the game .

Negative negative negative

Some seem fixated on bring MLBTS into conversation for whatever reason.

Some guys like me enjoy this game warts and all. Some feel cheated and if they paid full price for it they are. While gameplay is very enjoyable to me, I have enough sense to know a half finished product put out there at full price when I see it. Thankfully it's a rental for me and will stay that way save for a patch that incorporates some of the missing features. Glad that like me you are enjoying the game. For those that are not I understand their frustration and feelings of being burned. If they paid full price they did get burned

Quick impressions, I've had about 5 hours with the game, splitting time between it and Madden.

I'll post the following caveats:

-I only play offline GM mode
-I'm not as familiar with NHL trade logic, players, etc. I really only know the star players and the Hurricanes since I follow them.

I'll admit to being on the fence, but I pretty much play Madden, The Show, and NHL every year, and it's been a long wait on the PS4 (I got rid of my PS3 and NHL before PS4 came out). I'm pretty happy with the game so far, the gameplay and graphics are really solid, the commentary needs some work but is fresh compared to the show and Madden.

Other than drafting and slow sim times, I'm fairly content with the GM offerings. Now, again, I'm much more into the GM aspects of The Show or Madden just because I know the teams better, and I would be angry as well if things like drafting or proper finances, player editing, etc. were missing out of either of those games.

So, if you are into single player GM and haven't played NHL in awhile, I'd definitely give it a try, as long as you aren't too focused on the day to day aspects.

Presentation is nice, but where are the stats? I was expecting more and we got less actually.

1. When scoring a goal, it only shows the game total and not season total.
2. Power plays only show total for game and not season %
3. No career stats that I have seen and only season stats for goalies at the beginning of game and only a few season stats for players but only once in a while.
4. No league leaders during a game.
5. I do like the flashes of game stats under the score overlay, but could be better.

Has anyone seen more than I have mentioned or do more show up?

Yeah, this is a total FAIL. With all the missing stuff, I expected much more immersion into BeaGM.
