Rams make headlines with a trade this off season with the Bengals. The deal included the Rams 2015 3rd rd pick and a 2016 4th rd draft pick. In return the Bengals shipped out Fs Taylor Mays and C Russel Bodine. When asked about the trade coach Faulk had this to say, "The Rams organization is excited to bring more young talent to the team. While we cherish our draft picks, we couldn't pass down the opportunity to bring in some young players with tremendous upside. Mays is a very athletic bruiser type saftey. He has really good range but needs work in the coverage department. Stuck behind some good safteys in cincy we both felt a change of scenery would be best for him. Russel is a player that we wanted to draft but we gambled and he was taken before we predicted he would go. We really liked the tape on Russel and his work out was phenomenal. His combine was even better. So giving up a pick for him was a no brainer for us. At the end of the day we felt we wouldn't find better talent at those picks in the draft so we send them out to cincy. Best of luck to that organization as I think they have the talent and coaching to make some noise in the afc.

Shockwaves was sent through the sfl as Qb Sam Bradford will miss yet another season of football due to a second acl tear. "Where will the rams go from here"? Coach was asked. "It really a tough tough loss for the organization. He took us to two Superbowl's much like Kurt did and has been really one of the best qb's in the sfl. With that being said we have to move on, next man up. We did our due diligence by picking up a pair of qbs from free agency, Tyrrell Pryor and Josh Freeman. Its a heated qb competition going on in camp and preseason for the starting role this upcoming season. I would say Pryor has the upperhand so far but the starting qb wont be named until final cuts. We will keep posted.
