    Offline CFM cutting players

Frustrating every time I start a CFM mode the computer cuts rookies such as Bishop Sankey. I don't understand why stuff like this happens. It does it repeatedly and it seems the only way I can prevent it is if I take control of the Titans. Not sure who else the computer cuts but he is one I look for every time.

I was excited for this game but really seems to be more of a disappointment. Before you integrate large game changers in madden lets get the small stuff right consistently. A button to catch/stop the punts when trying to pin the other team deep in their territory. I would like to believe EA has the technology by now to have a defense who learns your playing style and adapts to what plays to expect in certain situations, instead of lining up in a 3-4 formation when it's 3rd and short and you're in the goal line formation on offense. Rant over.

Yeah this has always been an issue, high draft picks getting cut. And the sad thing is, the same players get cut every single time and the same free agents get signed by the same teams every single time..

same issue here every time i try to start my cfm when having to cut the team to 53 players i end up having to cut players that made the 53 team becuz it wont let us put ppl on IR or out for the season so end up losing players that are on the team for the next yr very frustrating new rosters but yet still end up being wrong after cuts

To catch a punt as the defender, hold triangle (ps4).
As for the free agents, the cut logic is bad. I sign the players as free agents and trade them back to their drafted team. It's not right having to do it and they only get them on a one year deal, but at least they get one year to develop into potential keepers for those teams.

We shouldn't have to do any of this though, it's 2015. EA should have the simple things ironed out.

Its so bad that i can't even play it no more …Gameplay is a lot better but its these small things that kill it for me …Like Ray Rice & Sidney Rice being free agents even tho they're not in the new roster yet appear in the cfm roster ….CFM is want i play and it kills the immersion totally …Rather play FIFA 15 demo ….Just my thoughts

Aren't they completely gone from the update? Couldn't you just pre-load that roster before your CFM?

                      Re: Offline CFM cutting players

It doesn't get any better. I'm in the 2nd season of my current franchise, and somebody's preseason cuts included a guy they just picked in the 1st round in the most recent draft.

Other than Demetrius Underwood, a d-lineman who got cut during camp after he had some kind of mental breakdown, I can't even think of another example of that happening in the modern NFL.

Not sure why sports games are so terrible about this. Even a game like The Show, which everybody pretends is so perfect, suffers from the same problem where teams don't seem aware of which young players were prized draft picks.

Pretty basic stuff. Yet literally everybody blows it.
