"simulation" is more arcadey than hardcore (go figya). If you like 8-5 games and Lundquist to have an 825 save percentage play simulation. If u like lower scoring defensive games go with hardcore. I personally don't like to mess with sliders unless the game gets to easy or hard in the defined areas.
