Re: NHL 15 Available Now for PS4 and Xbox One - Post Your Impressions Here
Here is the play I was talking about the other day that happened to me.
The Caps bum rush my goalie and take him out of the net, unbeknownst to me, and then get a goal from their efforts lol.
You might have to watch it a few times to see it happen, but Johansson crashes into Fleury and puts him nearly into the no play zone as Ovechkin slaps it into the open net from near the blue line. No penalty called and the goal stood as a good goal.
hahahaha....so whats new about this.... great gameplay!!! :PComment

It sure does play sweet but they seemed to add a few different replays to when you score in game really cool with different angles so maybe they toned the end of the game to be more like a NBC broadcast ?I just got the full game today after playing the demo every chance I got. I've always been a VS. player and I have to say that there's little for me to complain about. I would be playing right now if my left thumb didn't hurt from playing 6 consecutive games.
The only thing that disappoints me at the moment is the lack of goal replays at the end of the game. The amount of enjoyment I get from playing each game makes up for it.
I cant remember if NBC shows them all at the end but I know when its a OT goal they end the game fast and go to Network programming if time is a issue .Finally Roster share in NHL 22 ! Dreams do come true ! To Garryowen and Glory boys !Comment

Totally agree with bolded comments. Game is a blast to play and EA has a solid base to build upon. However, with all the missing features full price isn't justified IMO. I get the time restraints and lack of manpower helped cause skimping on features but full price? I'll wait for price drop. Given they didn't release next gen title last year it makes me wonder a little bit why they didn't have enough time to put out a finished product. Kinda reminds me of NBA Live but Live's gameplay was a disgrace while NHL gameplay is spot on with a good set of slidersI use the sham sorry the show as a comparison only for a sports game that seems or comes off forced to one that has actually real 100% interaction most of the time and that is it , great to watch but not play if you like interaction .
By all means vote with your wallet but theres just to much broken record stuff going on here from many who dont even have the finished game ?
( Remember the salem witch trials ?).
Im no EA supporter and they totally screwed up the PR but EA NHL has created a great base to build upon for many years with NHL 15 so I get what they were doing especially with their limitations producing it .
But the game is what it is and it plays a amazing game of NHL Hockey BEST EVER once you find your skill level and its not easy but AlTitos sliders are a great base !

What's with the glitchy strategy boxes? They will stay in the bottom of the screen for the entire game.Comment

Hey guys how is the entry into the offensive zone this year? By the looks of the Demo and gameplay videos I've watched it looks as easy as ever. That was going to be my one big hang up on purchasing the game this year. So if it hasn't been fixed or can be fixed via sliders than it'sa no go for me. ThanksComment

Exactly the same as the last ___ many NHL games by EA, no pressure along the boards and an easy entry every time.Hey guys how is the entry into the offensive zone this year? Sliders do not help with it either. The AI will give up the blue line with ease 97/100 entries.Comment

It's a bug. This isn't a fix as much as it is a workaround, but here: http://www.operationsports.com/forum...oing-away.htmlComment

The AI basically has two ways that they will defend your rushes:Hey guys how is the entry into the offensive zone this year? So if it hasn't been fixed or can be fixed via sliders than it'sa no go for me. Thanks
1) Sit back and do nothing.
2) Charge at you full speed for a body check.
The first way just results in an easy entry. The second way is very easy to skate around or deke around, and it will give you a free breakaway/odd-man chance. Note that the second tendency is also exclusive to the PS4/Xbox One versions. The AI always sits back when defending the rush on the PS3/Xbox 360.
What is still needed, is for the AI to gradually close the gap as you approach the blue line, and funnel you towards the boards, so that you have nowhere to go but to dump the puck in by the time you reach the blue line.Comment

If you play on hardcore and crank up CPU aggressiveness, CPU hitting power and CPU poke effectiveness, it's a lot harder to get into the middle of the ice. Also reduce Human Puck Control.Hey guys how is the entry into the offensive zone this year? By the looks of the Demo and gameplay videos I've watched it looks as easy as ever. also if you max out AI Learning it will force you to gain the zone from different anglesPSN:Xplisit21

I just played a game in Philadelphia, and there was this big black square on the ice. What the hell?
I don't catch a lot of Flyers games, but I know I've never seen them with a random big black square on the ice.
Anyone know what the deal is with that?University of Minnesota Golden Gopher Hockey
