DL sack leaders missing in CFM

Is it just me but none of my DL show up on league defensive stats, only LB. It's. Like they are invisible when set to view all teams.

I've just written it off as a result of them somehow not qualifying for league leaders or something similar (i.e. not enough downs played or something). That at least made sense to me since I was playing 7-8 minute quarters and simulating games got players stats based on 15 minute quarters.

Perhaps that wasn't correct?

Not 100% but I think you were incorrect.
The game frequently fails to include Suggs in the stats but he plays most snaps for my team. And other guys are listed. I think it only happens when one of my guys leads the league in a category. And since AI QB is borked the user should always lead the league in sacks.

As league leaders for defensive categories are raw numbers instead of averages or percentages, downs played should not matter. Besides that I get frustrated looking at leaders on offense because there are no qualification requirements (e.g. leader in QB rating attempting 5 passes).

I don't know why it happens, but it is not new

Not sure on this, but you might need a certain amount of tackles to qualify for the sack lead.

you know somethings wrong when my defensive tackles both make the pro bowl but cant even be found on defensive stats

Players who for whatever reason don't show up among the NFL leaders in a statistical category can usually (always?) be found listed among the leaders in their conference. Odd glitch.

It's one of the stats I like to look at at the end of my season to see how my DL did. Fairly easy to notice this issue. Definitely the same in last years Madden, not too sure how far back it goes

This was their fix for too many sacks. See, there's no problem!

Its just one of those attention to detail things that seem like such an easy fix but yet EA is to busy updating their twitter feed. I'm pretty sure this glitch affects DL, LB, and CB's stats when you sort to view the NFL as a whole. Its been brought up over the years and for some reason still an issue.

I also notice that user CB's are not recording catches allowed among other things and user offense linemen seem to be unable to record any pancakes during user vs cpu games in CFM.
