WWE 2K15 Delayed Until November 18th For Xbox One & PS4, Dates Unchanged For 360, PS3

The release date for WWE 2K15 has been pushed into mid-November for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 fans.

2K has announced today that WWE 2K15 will release on November 18th on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 consoles. The original release date for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 remain unchanged and will release on October 28th.

Today we're announcing a new next-generation console release date for WWE 2K15 of November 18, 2014 in North America and November 21, 2014 internationally for both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. However, the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 date remains unchanged and will remain October 28, 2014 in North America and October 31, 2014 internationally.

This delay is in the interest of delivering the best possible WWE experience to you, the fans, and 2K's development teams are working hard to ensure its success.

"You can only release a game once", etc. Not too concerned.

Would be nice for 2K to throw us a bone with some gameplay videos, creation suite details, Universe mode details, the rest of the roster, and/or MyCareer mode details in the meantime.

Doubt it since last-gen consoles are still releasing on schedule. Couldn't imagine what it could be since you need like a month to make the game "Go Gold" I believe? I'm still mad regardless though. lol

Kinda expected this to happen honestly. I doubt the CM Punk issue is hindering it, but who knows, maybe it is. Hopefully its to get the kinks worked out and make the next gen debut even better than anticipated. But, now that WWE 2k15 AND GTA V are dropping on next gen the same day, I may have to tell my wife I won't be seeing her until after the New Year.

This, unless the rivalry thing isn't in the PS3 or 360 versions. Also, they got very close to the gold deadline before delaying it.

I would imagine it has to be one thing that they want to fine-tune because that seems like a very short delay of only 3 weeks if it's a game issue

The showcase feature is on last gen as well.The career mode is exclusive to PS4, XB1

Horrible comparison because of Live's history. Live has cancelled two games and is delaying this one. WWE doesnt have that history.

Pulling a EA Sports? If this was EA Sports, they'd just release WWE 2K14 with the WWE 2K15 logo and new WWE logo in the game and then charge full price.

I'm hoping the delay is because they were able to come to an agreement with CM Punk and actually have him scanned for the game and need time to implement the full body scan into the game.
