    Re: Destiny

The game is definitely a grind to the extreme. I imagine I'll be getting burned out soon enough, especially since I can't even find any gear upgrades. I have yet to find a single legendary engram, though I have gotten a couple legendary weapons (one from a rare engram, one as a reward after a strike).

I don't much care for the multiplayer, either. It just isn't interesting or very balanced. It is unfortunate they made it almost essential, as you can't get certain gear upgrades without crucible marks (unless you happen to find decent gear, but good luck with that).

The only thing I dislike about the crucible are the dang shotguns.

Quick question on some of the weapons I've gotten, the attack numbers show up in different colors, with little symbols beside them... what on earth does that mean? Like I've got one shotgun that says (im making these numbers up right now) Attack 168/175 in white, then the exact same shotgun where the numbers are in say... orange, or blue, or purple I think. What's up with that? I'm playing as a Titan btw.

You can get crucible marks without playing crucible, you can exchange collected materials (spinmetal leaves, etc) for them just like you can for vanguard.

I still have yet to see legendary anything. I think I'll just finally finish story later.

                168 is the current damage
175 is the upgraded damage once you use the weapon enough

I just started leveling up my Sunsinger sub-class, so I haven't gotten to use all the powers of it yet, but from what I've read, it sounds like I'd prefer it over the Voidwalker (though the Voidwalker super is so much fun to use lol).

The Sunsinger sounds perfect for strikes and game types like control, where you can bring yourself back to life after a mob of guys has killed you and then just let them walk by, come back to life, and pick them all off.

I hope this doesn't sound too stupid, but i have truly never played an online game like this. I have joined the OS clan and I am approaching level 10, all thru solo play. How do I find you guys in the Clan while I am playing and where do I go to join up so that I can participate in strikes and raids and such?

Any guidance for this noob would be greatly appreciated.

I don't think there is any clan functionality in the game, it does lists friends who are online in the roster window of the pause/inventory screen, that's the only way I know of.

You can't. The clan functions are complete limited to the point of almost being non-existent. There's no in game way to meet up or even see who's online. I'm still trying to figure out if there is any benefit at all to being a clan member.

There are achievements/trophies for completing raids and strikes with only clan members in your fireteam.
