    Week 5 Discussion

Gameday is in Columbia for New Tigers-Chickens

    The Schedule

    Spoiler

As you can see, LSU is at home again so I'm gonna be drinking and being social and yelling instead of watching footbawl. Gentleman, this is your week 5 discussion thread.

I expect this to be the last week of the honeymoon phase with Penn State and James Franklin.

Most intriguing matchup of the week for me has to be Arkansas and Texas A&M in Jerry World.

Arkansas won't stop A&M...but I'm not real sure A&M will stop Arkansas rushing attack either.

Aggies have pigged out on cupcakes for 3 weeks. Gonna be interesting to see they react to that oversized Hog O line and backs.

Game 1B for intriguing matchup is the Cincinnati Fighting Tubervilles heading out to play Ohio State.

I wish the game were earlier or later so I could watch it but I'll be following the ticker closely during the Auburn game.

Bearcats left a lot to be desired Saturday night, I can only hope they were looking ahead or it could get ugly. It'll be the first time in the 'Shoe since the Michigan game in '12.

Gators on BYE, so I'll get to enjoy football. This week is sorta the calm before the storm. Week 6 is gonna be monsterous in deciding the SEC so that should be fun... But that's for another thread.

That ASU/UCLA game might be really good.

Alabama has a bye, so not sure how much football I'll be watching this weekend.

But I am very curious about the A&M and Arkansas game. The SEC West is nothing but a huge guess right now.

I came into the year a doubter in Golden and crew. The UL game in week 1 only made me more of a doubter. Then in the next 3 games(including the loss last week) I saw more adjustments and growth in the staff and team that I had seen in the last 3 years combined. This Duke game isn't the most important game on a national level, but I feel it is definitely a huge game for Miami(which actually is sad to think about) because it should let the fans know whether or not Golden and his staff really are finding their stride finally or if it will be the same team we've seen under them the last 3 years. I obviously hope it is the former, but we'll only know for sure on Saturday.

Think you'll get it? That game gave me pause on my pickems, but I ultimately went with Michigan on pure name brand.

I don't think so. Our passing game is embarrassing.

It won't really surprise me if we win. But gun to my head, I'm picking Michigan.

Question for Louisville is who is going to be the QB? Gardner suffered a knee injury against FIU and is still sore and swelling and Bonnafon returned for being out with the death of his Father.

The depth chart was released yesterday with Gardner as one and Bonnafon as two, but have to see how the week plays out.
