Re: TGC Tours (www.tgctours.com)
Aside from one great round, I think it was -12 (my lowest score ever) on the second course, my other scores weren't that great.
Speaking from the PC side...I've played a tournament over there, and believe me there are guys shooting -12 consistantly. (And it's not just one or two guys either). There are guys shooting -22 to -24 after two rounds...mine was after six rounds(?).
If I make the Web.com tour, that just means I'll have guys that I can compete on my level, I'm cool with that. I already know I won't be able to compete for a win on the regular tour.Comment

Re: TGC Tours (www.tgctours.com)
interesting...is the game "easier" on PC? I'm playing on PS4.
and as long as there is parity, I'm with you. competition amongst equal skill levels will be a fun thing to have with the TGC Tour competitionComment

Re: TGC Tours (www.tgctours.com)
I thought TGC was suppose to be sim in that regard. I love this game but in the end tournaments are no better than TW. -24 after two rounds is ridiculous. None of us really have a chance.PSN: ptrickelComment

Re: TGC Tours (www.tgctours.com)
Yea, I was really kinda excited for this, and I know it's not something I was ever gonna win. Hell it's hard to find time to play half the time.
But over the last couple days I've been able to play a little more, but I certainly don't have much interest when scores are that low. It was my biggest complaint about tw and now it appears the same here. Not trying to rip on the game, I enjoy it much more than tw, but if scores are that low, I guess I'll just stick to myself as I did with tw.
I don't know what goes on nowadays, if ppl have nothing but time to play games or what. Hopefully there can be someway of trying to keep some form of decent competition. It's usually the same reason why I don't play anything online.
Who knows maybe I'll be able to just find a smaller group of guys to play against where we are closer to the same competition.
I mean I'm all for playing against ppl that are better than me (usually helps me get better) but by the same token I'd like to at least be competitive... LolComment

I totally agree with you on this. You can add me if you are on psn. Psn:KNOB1701Yea, I was really kinda excited for this, and I know it's not something I was ever gonna win. Hell it's hard to find time to play half the time.

This is where the beauty of this tour comes in. If you don't make the "pga" tour, you'll be put down on the "web.com" tour. If you don't shoot well enough to make that tour, you'll go down more. Your scores will find the right competition.Yea, I was really kinda excited for this, and I know it's not something I was ever gonna win. Hell it's hard to find time to play half the time.

Same game on the PC. Some of the guys have been playing for five months though on the PC side.interesting...is the game "easier" on PC? I'm playing on PS4.Comment

Re: TGC Tours (www.tgctours.com)
Keep in mind we're running 5 leagues. There's bound to be one that fits your skill level. The Champions Tour is an open league that no PGA or Web.com tour card holder can play on. The European Tour is an open tour that will have a sprinkling of PGA players or those that choose to make that tour their home base. There will be something for every skill level.Yea, I was really kinda excited for this, and I know it's not something I was ever gonna win. Hell it's hard to find time to play half the time.

Firstly, I'm not accusing any one at OS or associated with this tour of cheating in any way.Yea, I was really kinda excited for this, and I know it's not something I was ever gonna win. Hell it's hard to find time to play half the time.

I agree that some of these scores are disheartening, not to mention, unrealistic!
With that being said, there are ways to guarantee yourself of 100% accuracy on every shot via a controller attachment/modification. Then it just comes down to a math game and making appropriate adjustments with the wind and on the greens.
The thing I like most about this game is how unforgiving the shot meter is in terms of missing the perfect swing. At least from my experience and my scores should support that LOL
I have never used anything like that myself but an online friend was telling me about this a few years back. I'm sure many of the insanely low scores on the TW games of the past, and quite possibly this game are helped out by this type of cheat.
Personally I don't see the fun in doing that but I know there are plenty of people out there who have to win, in any way possible.Last edited by Hoos; 09-23-2014, 08:31 AM.XBL Gamertag: hoos4974

Re: TGC Tours (www.tgctours.com)
Keep in mind that if any of the leaders shoot straight shots (in red cone) 100% of the time we'll be removing them from the leaderboardFirstly, I'm not accusing any one at OS or associated with this tour of cheating in any way.
