Stuttering in full game, same as demo!!

Wtf. Just tried to play an offline game and the freaking game is stuttering and lagging just as the demo was doing.... Has there been any talk about this being resolved soon?? I haven't seen anyone else on heater complaining about it, but I can't even play the game unless I turn off my ps4's internet connection.

Game's been smooth as butter for me. On and offline.

I'm on XB1 though.

No problems here, in fact it is about 100x smoother than FIFA 14 was for me. (XBOne)

I have not noticed this, is it at a particular time? The only frame rate issues I notice are with the ticker when the starting lineups scroll across the bottom and look a little frame-y.

No particular time. It's just stuttering like crazy from the menus to in game. It's almost like its online lag, but Im actually just playing the CPU. I'm going to uninstall it and reinstall to see if that helps.

Super pissed right now. Just uninstalled and reinstalled the game and it is still stuttering like crazy.. The only way the game will run smooth is if I turn off the internet connection in the ps4 settings.

PS4 here and I haven't had any issues with either FUT or friendlies against the CPU.

Ps4 digital download. I do see some stuttering in the pre match skills challenges. No issues in actual games.

I've played a couple of games in the play-now mode and it was fine. In career mode/manager I'm in the middle of my first game (at Stoke w/ rainy conditions) and the stuttering issue is beyond just an irritant. It seems to happen more often (maybe 35-40% of the time) when you're further towards the box area and at random everywhere else on the pitch. I'd imagine this will be quickly patched, but until then it really throws a wrench in the gameplay.

Just read in another forum that if you have this issue to try turning off the UPNP option on your router. I did it and now my games run extremely smooth. Thank goodness. Now I can go to bed. Lol.

It's not a HDD issue. A TON of people have been reporting this problem on other forums. Sony even issued a statement about "some issue" during the demo.. I assume it was this one because I saw this getting pasted in threads where people were talking about the stuttering.

I have read that you can actually make sure certain ports are unblocked to get rid of general lag online. Since rawdog said turning off UPNP helped, maybe this will help with the stutter as well? Here's a list from another site of the ports to open up. (segmentnext is the site, can't post direct links yet)

UDP: 53, 88, 500, 3074, 3544, 3659, 4500
TCP: 53; 80; 3074; 3659

UDP: 3074, 3478-3479, 3658-3659, 5223, 6000
TCP: 80, 443, 3659, 5223, 10000-10099, 42127

PS4

UDP: 3074, 3478-3479, 3659, 6000
TCP: 80, 443, 1935, 3478-3480, 3659, 10000-10099, 42127

PC

UDP: 3659; 9565; 9570; 9000 – 9999

At worst, opening said ports should make general lag online better.. So I hope this helps in SOME way.. Even if it just makes the game less laggy for you online.

Disclaimer: That's a lot of ports to open, and I'm not an expert. I'm just going by what I've read. If you're unsure, hit up Google. Always better to be safe than sorry.
