Does anybody know or heard what the online head to head ranked difficulty setting will be. I hope it will be superstar/sim. If not that hopefully superstar/default or atleast allstar/sim. With all the improvements they said they towards making the game more sim it wouldn't be sim at all to have the difficulty settings low for any online mode. I guarantee if the settings are low online the shot meter or defense wouldn't matter. It will still be alot of cheese going on that would be effective just because of the difficulty setting.

I hope it's hall of fame/sim! We should at least have an option what we can difficulty we want to play on. Online quick matches needs to be addressed. They keep stripping it down every year. I hope I'm the next couple years they bring back lobbies that will fix some of the issues.

Almost all of us want SIM. Don't hold your breath though. That would impact casual sales, so I don't think it's going to happen. Maybe they will implement lobbies?Comment

Wishing it was HOF/Sim, but I could settle for Superstar. Just wish they would bring back lobbies and this would not be a issue at all. Everyone can play on which difficulty they choose.Comment

Superstar/sim or superstar/default should be the norm for 2k. Madden is always on all pro. I dont see people complaining about it being too hard. Football games are harder to play then basketball games. Causals should have no problems on superstar. I don't understand how could you cater to someone that doesnt know basketball. If your not good then get your game up in quick game before playing against the big boys online.Comment

In all honesty, if quick match isn't sim and there are no lobbies to play head to head SIM, I won't bother this year. I'm surprised this hasn't been answered. That makes me nervous.Comment

For all the talk of how good the anti-cheese plays on Superstar/Sim by the devs, if online is not set to that, or something close, it would be an absolute travesty and wasted effort in not applying it to competitive play.
I'd asked about that in a thread that Da Czar was fielding questions in, but he went dark-- a somewhat ominous sign. :PComment
