I see from this article that Madden causes players with low consistencies to vary in abilitie from game to game. Is this still the case.

The reason why I ask is because I was watching Donald Penn (91 RBK) blocking Cliff Avril (69 BSH) and lose the block immediately. Donald Pen (74 CNS) and CLiff Avril (82CNS)...was this the difference?

Or does Consistency only affect Game Prep and the amount of increase in confidence whch thereby increases your ratings per game?

This could possibly help us in understanding sliders better

Thoughts?
