Well I just played 2 matches as Bayern vs FC Freiburg. One on full manual, the other on assisted.

Both times they had over 12 shots (8 min halves). The CPU will shoot like crazy if you block the passing lanes. Also they were dribbling and passing like maniacs! And they out-possessed me 60-40 both games. I pretty much could not get the ball from them until they where near my 18 yard box. It was a bit laughable.

The game is decently easy on WC playing assisted, since you can just ping pong like the CPU. But I don't think I can have fun playing full manual in career mode without sliders. I think I will have to cave.

Yeah, at the very least, if you play full manual, you must up cpu pass error and possibly their first touch bit.

Re: FIFA 15 Available Now, Post Your Impressions Here (PS4, XB1)

I’ve played many FIFA games from FIFA Road to World Cup ’98 , FIFA ’99 all the way to now with FIFA 15.

I’ve seen many changes come and go, I’ve seen great features added and taken away, I’ve won a lot of games and lost a few too.

But I have to say, FIFA 15 is the best FIFA game I’ve ever played. I really enjoyed FIFA 14 and played that for it’s entirety. From when it was released up until the day of the release of FIFA 15. Also really enjoyed FIFA 10 and 12.
But FIFA 15 is on another level.
Now, it might be because I’ve just bought a PS4 (upgraded from PS3) and I’m really seeing the world of FIFA 15 in all it’s glory. But wow, what a wonderful world it is!

Most of the time I was shaking my head in disbelief and giggling like a school girl.

I just watched Man Utd vs West Ham (no spoilers here). So I thought I’d load the game up and for my first game play what I’d just seen. I won 2-0. Here are some of my impressions -

Presentation is 100% fantastic. EA Sports have made a beautiful game. They’ve captured the Barclays Premiere League and it’s stars fantastically!

Gameplay is flawless. Smooth, just like you’re watching an actual match on a Saturday or a Sunday.

The goalkeepers are amazing, very realistic and it’s quite difficult to score, which, I like. I’ve often felt that past FIFA titles it’s been very easy to score, 9 times out of 10, if you had a shot on goal, it would go in. But this time round, it’s quite difficult even building play and setting up a goal.

Players models have surprised me. I’d heard such negative things about the player models in FIFA 15. Ok, compared to what PES are releasing, they’re perhaps not as good. But they look great to me!

I like the menu and interface of the game, always nice to look at something fresh. Especially when organising team management.

Which leads me on to my favourite aspect, the instructions. I’m one for statistics and tactics. So I really like being able to give each of my players specific instructions for each game. Just like in a real match.

So for me, FIFA 15 is 9/10 there’s obviously always room for improvement, but this game is as close to 10 as you can possibly get!

I'm a bit of a stats nerd, so I'd like a Football Manager-style career stats screen for every player.

I've always loved that with the NHL games (the stats in that even took a step backwards from the PS2-3 era this year, but don't get me started) and I think it would be useful, especially in Manager Mode.

This is what fifa does to me. 14 and 15 do this more than I care for.

13 and prior I don't recall this happening as much.

What it is, is this. And look I like this game and I liked 14.

Anyway what it is, is a user c0ck tease.

Many times in 14 and 15 I think of something clever to do on the pitch and I can execute to like 95% completion and what wrecks it? Not the cpu, well sort of, but my cpu controlled players.

Here is a prime example. I am schalke and sub on the pacey RM in the 60'. I get trapped on my left sideline by the CPU and decide to get clever.
I play the most beautifully weighted field swap ball, daring, perfectly executed except whappen?

Out of nowhere my RB sprints up under cpu control and does this? Why?

This is what happens, beautiful soccer destroyed by my own cpu controlled teammates idiocy. I have no idea why coding like this exists in the game other than to tease the user. It's cruel.

Anyone else find it a lot harder to get shots on goal this year? I miss so many shots wide

A criticism I have after playing a ton of games is that AI marking in and around the box is too tight/stricts man to man. I am scoring a lot of my goals by beating my defender on the dribble, and then cpu defenders just aren't leaving their man to mark me so I can get a good chance at goal. I should draw defenders more often, and in turn have to attempt a pass to a teammate for a header or along the ground.

Been playing for the better part of the afternoon and wow is this game near perfect. I've had all kinds of games, from shootouts where my team and the CPU combined for five goals in the first half to games where only one goal was scored. World Cup diffculty is a lot more fair this year and I feel like pace and strength really are on equal terms. I've dominated with Giroud and I've also dominated with Alexis Sanchez, both players are different but their skills translate to Fifa 14.

Fifa has really stepped up their game this year.

My only gripe is it seems on WC CPU goalies won't dive on penalty kicks

Yeah that stings. Makes you want to immediately release the RB to set an example. Except it is the AI and not the RB.

Was this offline? If so, lower your User run frequency and this should go away. Notice if you put run frequency @ 100 you will see not just more runs, but quicker timed runs. So they happen almost immediately you gain possession.

                            Hey Matt, what's up?

Yep offline, it was a weekly challenge match. Dortmund vs Schalke, on legendary, default settings. Didn't check team tactics, just dove in to complete the challenge.

One thing I will say though about wing back runs, if they were on that still would be a horrific time to make one. The ball had been in my end and I had just won it back around the edge of the box. Drove a pass up to that player that starts the vid.

So with how quick it was from change of possession to when I played that swap ball I can't think of any good reason for that RB to be where he was.

I regret that I did not isolate the camera on the RB and watch his behavior but he acted like a possessed defender the way he raced up, hell on wheels, to thwart my intentions.

It's cruel.

In this video there is no ball cross marker...How do you disable it?
