been playing exhibition, career & ultimate team mode of FIFA 15

well, first of all, I like FIFA 14 gameplay, it was near perfection

but with FIFA 15, I noticed the gameplay is much faster even on slow settings (I like slow gameplay for football games), the player has lost their "weight" and seems like floaty at times. Plus, the ball travel at unrealistic speed sometimes. All of these, unfortunately, contribute to the ultimate issue: ARCADE-ish

FIFA 15 feels too arcade-ish now, some will like it, but some won't. Personally, I don't like it, because faster gameplay, unrealistic ball speed can kill the fun. Not to mention in online mode, someone will just use this to their advantage

This is just my opinion, however....

Sadly I am having some major buyer's remorse. The game lets me score lots of goals which is great, but it doesn't feel "real".

I've played maybe 20 games. I've scored two goals. I have yet to win. Which setting do I change to make the game let me score lots of goals?

You're probably trying to play the game realistically. Just dribble past defenders and let it fly. Nobody will stop you.

You should reduce dificulty level.
If you´re playing with manual controls (wich I doubt) then put them assisted.
When the game starts to get easier then you can increase dificulty until it suits you.

I play on all manual. The defensive AI is simply not good in this game. Sorry, but it is worse than 14.

I play on legendary and that is not the case with me, I am seldom able to move the ball past midfield unless I punt it forward. I am swarmed by the CPU the moment I touch the ball.

Are you adjusting CPU line sliders (lower) and creating custom CPU sheets with defend tactics? I have, and the CPU essentially forms a wall in its end that I can't get through. The game is extremely customization-friendly when it comes to setting difficulty.

I understand what you're saying though. Pace is the name of the game this year. If you slightly move to avoid the head on defender, you'll pass him with a very pacey player, then it's off to the races...well 1 man race.

Definitely go to the sliders section, kerosene, it will get those line settings in tact. I would also listen to anything Yeats says even if he can't score goals :P

Thanks Matt. I can score goals. I just adjust the sliders and tactics so I CAN'T score goals. I want to have fun. Now... exactly why it is I think being a loser is fun is something you'll have to ask my shrink.

Yeats, like they are saying, use the RStick to skill often, also when you ping pong first time your passes that will also open up the cpu.

Do I want to play this way, no, but when the CPU does it to me to score a goal when they need one, then fair is fair. I've hit literal "walls" (or is it cpu toe poke? And a new anathema this year, the over used cpu slide tackle!) in this game trying to play real.

It makes scoring a goal finally a real rush. "I scored a goal!!"

PES player cam/player lock is the biggest sports video gaming rush ever, to score a goal in 3rd person mode, maybe once every 5 games... pure gaming bliss.

We can debate the finer points of this game until our fingers fall off, but can we all agree that the EA servers are a hot dumpster fire?

They are the worst, from the fut app not working for months, to 15's not working now that Europe came on board with the game, xp and FFC not calculating, the buggy weekly matches, I have read people having catalog issues, the cm squad issue, etc

Right now I feel the only safe thing to do is play kickoff mode.

The screen below shows what's possible this year just by editing team tactics, changing d-pad tactics, and using line edits. CPU players come back and defend. This wasn't possible before on any version of FIFA, not without a ton of PC database editing. This year, it can all be accomplished by anyone, even console gamers. Just takes a bit of tactics editing. The possibilities this year to create teams with noticeable and unique defensive and offence styles is what I'm especially excited about.
