Also the review has Oct. 7 as the release date.
Where you see that? I'm surprised it's releasing this early

I honestly expect a demo by the 14th, 1 week after the other game. I may be asking too much

I don't really care about all of the extra stuff, first and foremost and MOST IMPORTANTLY give me a good playing game offline/online, that's it PEROID.

Depending on reviews I will get Live or 2K this year

3/4 of the article was seemed like a press release, not hands on impression. It's good to see they've worked on nba live, won't be bad having two games to choose from. Hope EA doesn't pull that xbone access and only give paying customer's a chance to play, demo should drop for BOTH systems for FREE.

Here's hoping to a good game

I agree with this comment on the article. It sounds very much like it's written to hype the game. I guess none of these "first impressions" are truly without bias, but just saying... I would have appreciated a more objective view...

"The gameplay may still have some rough edges - I noticed in particular that players reacted slowly to loose balls, and some contact animations in the paint resulted in defenders being driven aggressively backward. But if the majority of these alterations prove themselves out over extended play sessions, the Live series may finally have a foundation from which to build a true competitor to NBA 2K." And this sums up the problem with video game "journalism." Clearly, the point of this article is to hype this game, not to provide a genuine critique of the experience. You focus on the positives and talk potential, while relegating the problems to a one-off in the final paragraph that is phrased in such a way as to minimize them. How is this journalism? How does this protect the consumer? Do you feel NO responsibility to us as readers? Or did EA pay you to say these things? I mean, I hate to go there because I don't think it's true in most cases--or at least not quite so direct as "here's money to say good things"--but the framing of this piece begs the question. Especially considering how poor last year's entry was, your approach should be one of skepticism, and yet here you are providing a ringing endorsement.

Nice Rockie, the first preview really touched on some good points but I can't help but feel like there is a defense tutorial but he just didn't get to test it out. Sounds like it's going to be a solid game

I liked the entweak article more informative than the rest. Guy sounded like a veteran bball gamer. Included details bout his frustration on defense. Hopefully the Tutorial includes defense in the final build if it's that hard to grasp.

Live might have something here to compete with game play wise, especially for those who play with real teams, which was hard to do in Live 14
i agree with you 100%! this year thats what is going to be about to you want an fully feature game with decent gameplay or a game that you know totally focused on gameplay but not much features. i have 2k14 n live 14 so im not anxious to buy 2k15 cause i haven't really seen anything new for gameplay that bother me, it wouldnt be easier to know if 2k had a demo to get my hands on it, im really eager to see the improvemt that EA has made with their game as far as looks and gameplay.

I can't wait to try Live15 out. For some of you who are on Twitter, I'm meechie911310 on there. Follow me and I'll keep it real about the game of basketball. Everyone should honestly give Live15 a try. They're actually looking at their mistakes, putting their foot down and sticking to what needs to be done. I understand most wanted game modes, but you have to learn how to crawl before you can walk right? Live15 fixed gameplay and graphics before adding all the good game modes we all want. Once Live15 drops, they'll continue to update the game, but start taking suggestions for 16. Game modes and all as well as how they can improve from 15. I won't say much about 2k15 because it's not the place to do so. I get people are in love with 2k but please open up your eyes for a sec and look at the videos that have posted. Gameplay wise, not modes, do you think there is a difference from 2k 14 to 15 based off the videos. I'd rather be honest with myself about what I see vs "oh I'm just gonna hate on a game for no reason". LIVE15 WILL put them back on the map and we all have to give constructive feed back and ideas for 16 to make it even better. Let's stop the hate on Live15 and appreciate that it have its own style of basketball and not like the competition.

Good read. But as the last paragraph suggested, it's a foundation. The question is, how many more titles will be a part of this foundation? When will the rest come?

Yeah, more and more of them are popping. I just don't understand why those who are actually going to pay for it, are not allowed to see the game...
