Fresh off a humiliating loss to the Bucs at home, Pitt travels down south to face the winless Jags......Maybe Pitt would like to generate some pressure against the young Bortles and force him into a turnover or two.....Maybe Pitt would like to cut out all the inexcusable boneheaded penalties from last week.....Maybe the O-Line would like to keep Ben upright.....Fully expecting another last-second nailbiter.....Discuss

Bortles is gonna throw for at least 300 yards.
Steelers still win though, but they don't do too much to restore any kind of faith in them.NFL: Pittsburgh Steelers

Jags defense (mainly back seven) is putrid. Pittsburgh wins.Rose City 'Til I Die

And it's probably not going to get much better as the year goes on. Let's just throw all the hope on Bortles. Get us into shootouts, Bortles, and we'll have a few chances.Rose City 'Til I Die

Steelers offense is incredible until they get inside the 20 yard line.
How do you go offside on the kickoff TWICE IN A ROW?Last edited by SteelersFreak; 10-05-2014, 01:49 PM.NFL: Pittsburgh Steelers

finally some signs of life from the Pitt offense.....hate that Bell didn't get a touch once they got inside the 10......and is a WR screen necessary on basically every possession?Steelers | Seminoles | A's | Rockets | Avalanche | Wildcats, Hoosiers | LiverpoolComment

You have Bell and Blount at your disposal, and you call 3 pass plays inside the 10? Brilliant!!!Rod Woodson

An interception by the defensive backs TWO WEEKS in a row? I'm stunned.
But much less surprising, the Steelers do nothing with great field position after the turnover.Last edited by SteelersFreak; 10-05-2014, 02:02 PM.NFL: Pittsburgh Steelers

Twice in the first half they have 1st and Goal. Both times they don't run the ball one time but three passes are called. I just don't get it. Especially with the way they're running the ball. Thankfully they got in the endzone the second time, but still. Makes no sense.Rod Woodson

Ben gotta find a way to hold onto the ball and save 3 points there....hope that isn't the difference-maker......

much-needed W to stem the tide.......defense forcing multiple turnovers was a pleasant surprise.....thought the O got a bit pass-happy at times....RZ offense still bogs down.....didn't have a multitude of stupid penalties.....overall, nothing really spectacular but a game Pitt simply couldn't dropSteelers | Seminoles | A's | Rockets | Avalanche | Wildcats, Hoosiers | LiverpoolComment
