NBA 2K15 Accessory Update Thread

Can we get a thread to help bedwardsroy and the other devs out with updating accessories?

For example, with the Miami Heat's throwback Floridians jerseys, the Team Color 2 is a light blue. Should be white instead (based on the last time they wore them.)

I'm sure this can be updated throughout the season as long as everyone keeps everything organized.

Definitely a great idea to start this thread wrestlinggod1! I think 2K has done great job with the game from what I've been seeing and hearing, but there are a few inaccuracies I have noticed. One thing I noticed in clips of 2K15 is that the Cavs away/home accessory colors are wrong. For one, the Cavs have been wearing yellow/gold headbands on the road since Lebron originally left in 2010, but 2K has them wearing red headbands. Also their yellow alternate is really a home alternate with white socks/sneakers and red headbands/sleeves but 2K has it as a road jersey with black socks/shoes. ^^ Same thing goes for a few other alternates that are worn at home, like the Knicks orange jersey, Thunder navy jersey, Pacers yellow jersey.

Also, i don't think anyone wears those knee pads that they have on a few players (I believe Rondo has them on, Rubio too, i don't have the game though).

You're 100 % right Factzzz. Also the Clippers usually treat their alternate blue jersey as a home uniform with white shoes and accessories. Also, I don't know how many people would agree, but I feel the Knicks have worn black headbands/accessories with their road jerseys more often than they have worn the orange gear on the road, plus it looks better but that's just iMO. The Denver nuggets also there alternate are with road accessories. When they should be home.

Would like to see a few things fixed on retro teams for the default 2k roster.

1.) Fix Penny Hardaway's Gear, he wears elbow pad instead of forearm band.

2.) This is what Air Max Penny Away is supposed to look like:

Tell your shoe maker to correct this and you change the away version to black instead of white.

3.) Fix the Jordan XI, have you seen what the default colors look like on Jordan?

4.) Fix the 96 Bulls sock and shoe colors for Home/Away, you went lazy and went all away version 4 years ago... It's time for a update.

5.) Last thing for now, please add compression shorts to all players from years 92-current, including free agents.

It's been like that for several years now. I think ever since they replaced the tiny elbow pad (2K7-2K8) with the forearm band (2K9 and on), by default players who were supposed to wear an elbow pad, wore the forearm band. Even from 2K12 and on (when they added the elbow pad back). Even MJ would only wear forearm bands in 2K, even if it was the 90's MJ. It's as if the elbow pad does not exist for the developers or something.

The Orlando Magic also wear their Black Alternate Jersey sometimes when they are home with black gear.

Another thing I noticed in a gameplay video was that Paul Pierce was wearing a black headband on the road when the Wizards have been wearing red headbands for home/away games ever since they updated their jerseys.

He's also wearing a navy blue arm sleeve at home when he should be wearing red, and navy blue on the road.

There's a lot of small things like that that i noticed, but i'm just not sure if anyone from 2k is listening so i'm just gonna wait for confirmation that our feedback is actually gonna be used before i contribute more.

NBA 2K15 Accessory Update Thread

Pelicans:
Home shoes are predominantly white and blue with some red and rarely gold.

Away shoes are predominantly black and white, with sometimes red and blue. RARELY gold accents.

The red alternate will be worn with white/home shoes considering they are a home alternate. In the video they are wearing away colors with red alternates.

I'm really hoping 2K notices this thread. I know most people's priority with this game is gameplay and online which are both very important, but details like this really add to the visual realism of the game. Don't get me wrong, I'm very impressed with the limited time I've spent with 2K15 from a gameplay and graphical standpoint, . I definitely think that finally allowing us to set hone/away accessory colors is a major step in the right direction, but there are still things that really could be fixed (shoes, headband colors, home/away uniform accessories, etc). I know that bedwardsroy19 was very active in the community before taking a job at 2K as the roster guy so I'm hoping he will be receptive to our suggestions/requests since these are all things that we are noticing as NBA fans and that will only enhance the game.
