I haven't posted in a while, but can someone please explain how the Patriots are sucking as much as they are right now, and giving up the sacks and having the crap offense they have been the last couple weeks, and yet Donny Moore STILL thinks that Brady should have great accuracy, the O-Line shouldn't be able to be beat and it's just naturally still hard as hell to beat the Patriots???? It seems no matter what team I use against the Patriots online, sacks for me are few and far between, and yet I'm always GETTING sacked. Not to mention blatant P.I. that's neglected. I thought this game this year was great.... but it's just the same old Madden. What a damn shame. THE ONLY THING THAT'LL FIX MADDEN IS COMPETITION. Until then, no more Madden for me. Because they just can't get it right. WHEN YOU'RE STILL USING CODE FROM A SYSTEM THAT YOU KNOW HAD BROKEN CODE THAT CAUSES TACKLES TO BE SUCTION BASED AND TRIGGER FROM 5 YARDS AWAY, YOU NEED TO ADDRESS IT!!!! Ignite Engine= What a Joke.

I find it unreal that they still can't get The jags helmet color correct on. Next gen system to boot...

The back of the helmet should not be yellow. It's gold.

Noticing a lot more tight shots post-play over the past week or two. There hasn't been a patch (correct me if I'm wrong), so they must be able to manipulate this through a tuner or something.

Before, out of 4 possible shots, I may have gotten 1 tight shot. Now I'm getting roughly 3 out of 4 and it's made a big difference. Good job on listening to that complaint, Tiburon.

Now if you could just give Frank Gore his correct body type so he's not looking like a Wide Receiver or small tight end anymore. Maurice Jones-Drew's body model looks closest to Gore's, so why not give Gore his?

Agreed. The system seller days for Madden are over, which is why I had a bad feeling about the XB1 bundle idea. Not sure how well it's done, and I know you have to wait out the holiday season to get any real idea, but I'm not very optimistic about it.

But yeah, the game is fun to play. I've had enough satisfying games at this point to give it a nod. I think they're on the cusp of something, but my concern is that Madden has been there before (Madden 10 imo) only for them to not build on it much the following year. Blocking A.I. and general animations remain the most glaring areas of need on the field.

Hey Facemask...just wondering if this is something you've noticed only in one game, or multiple games? I ask because I haven't downloaded the tuner, but if this is true, I will. I enjoy the tighter post play shots to show off the graphics and be more like a real broadcast.

I'd also like to know...do you need to download the roster update to get the tuner update? Or are these two things independent of each other? I'm on PS4.

Multiple games now. I guess we all complained enough for them to look into it.

If I remember correctly, they are independent of each other. In fact, I recall being asked if I wanted to specifically download the roster update with a yes or no option.

Pats went 15-1 in my Giants CFM...didn't make the super bowl though. Which brings me to why I came here to post. I'm rather embarrassed for Tiburon. I played the Chargers in the Super Bowl, and won a defensive battle 13-7. The only points the Chargers scored came on a pick six by Dwight Freeney. He also had a sack. Not a bad game at all, but a losing effort.

That didn't stop the game from naming him the Super Bowl MVP. Not only did it do that, but it showed him, Mike McCoy and the Chargers' owner at the podium, holding the Lombardi Trophy. Meanwhile, JPP had 5 sacks (he was also the regular season MVP somehow) and Odell Beckham broke TWO tackles on his 52 yard TD reception, and finished with 105 yards on 8 catches. But no guys. Dwight Freeney is the MVP. And McCoy and co. should be the ones to hold the Lombardi.

                    Wow. Like I said, embarrassing.

When I first bought the game, I thought it was an amazing step up. After a few games, I was quickly brought back down to earth. It still has the same issues it's always had (bad pass blocking, A.I,QB accuracy) and that new defensive QTE system is flat out terrible. Hit the x button from anywhere and watch your player make an ugly suction tackle from 5 yards away. The games engine is old and broken. Time to give it up EA.

I was hyped at first, but now I see how stale this game really is. To sum it up, the games just boring. I give up and will be trading in my copy today.

Don't know how much more I can take. I'm literally quitting games now due to RIDICULOUS dropped passes. Note to Tiburon: NFL WRs are tough and skilled. They generally do NOT drop balls when they are hit in the back. The slightest contact in this friggin game causes drops. I literally just throw the controller down and turn off the Xbox now and do something else.

NFL WRs drop 10% or more of the passes thrown their way. I have no problems with the drops in the game and actually drop the WR slider to have a few more. I have no problems in this area. If you want WRs to catch every single pass then simply raise the WR Catch slider to 100 to avoid your personal frustrations.

                                +1

                                so true

Everytime madden *tries* to implement something new be careful, there's always a downside coming with it, ive never once seen madden add something "new" to the game without there being a even bigger consequence for it.
new tackling mechanic = suction tackling and shifting all over the field.
Better zone D = Defense shifting and speedburst while offense WR is just terrible and letting DB gain position effortlessly, we also had pshycic DBs and LBs that jumped 20 feet in the air to make defense "tougher".
War in the trenches = 50 sacks a season for your star player.
i really have blocked out previous maddens from my memory but i know theres always been a negative or a couple negavites for every positive.
it really makes me nervous to hear about anything new cause all i can think about is what thing did they ruin or are they trying to cover up to implement this new feature,
Madden should never be adding new things if they cant even fix previous problems, there just adding to the mess.

I personally dont care if they dont come out with anything new next year, (other than better interaction between DBs and WRs) if they just Actually fix gameplay issues that have been haunting the game forever and not just add something "new" to the game to distract us from other problems.
Game modes are pointless if gameplay isnt there.
can someone also explain to me why every replay is zoomed in so you cant see a single thing other than a close up of the player? this is just common sense, a replay should show the play, not just the player in the play. i dont want a zoom in of mannings face or body every replay. that is just so bacis common sense its scary thats in there. we shouldn't have to tell them these things. its liek trying to explain to a child how to make a game.
