My boy did his in front of one of those photography back drops and it turned out perfect....only took him 5-7 minutes...guess that plays a part.

Why does it crash in the first place? And head I created in pc is better than on Xbox one, can't get past 2100pts no matter what I do.

I bought it on the bone solely for the scan feature by the way and cause I know they'll half *** the pc version somehow, 2ktv not working there alreasy while its up on Xbox.

Also it's 1PM here so shouldn't be a problem with lighting, I'm in a brightly lit living room.

When your scanning make sure to hold your chin up and scan a bit of your neck. If your chin in facing down it's hard to distinguish your neck from your chin. Hope that helps.

Anyone know how to change your name when the game starts up? Hitting "A" and everything and it will not let me change the name.

Finally got the damn thing to work. I tried for about 10 mons and it would never go past 7%. Then I decided to stop holding the connect and put it on top of my tv. The first time I scanned with out holding the kinect it worked beautifully with 3,101 scan points. I think this is where most are having troubles. Try scanning with the kinect or playstation eye on a stationary object

I got over 4k scan ponts first try, said it was "above average"...it was far from that, i will post the pic later. Hopefully when i get home and have more light comibg in from the window it will help.

yeah, i don't understand why its recommended to hold the camera, makes no sense...if you were moving the camera around your head, sure, but since you just turn your face a little bit the common sense thing would be to leave the camera in a stationary place...

i get the feeling that the bulk of the issues people are having are stemming from user error because they're holding the camera...

The people that got their scans perfect should post tips because the people who butchered theirs have to be doing something wrong. The technology works but human error is real

Like I stated in the begining when they first announced this feature! I believe lighter skinned individual will benefit the most from this...meanwhile darker skinned people like myself will have worlds of issues. I will wait til daytime to try again or perhaps take my xbox outside....lol
