Doing my first scan now. Dont know how it will turn out. BTW if anyone has any issues with the box turning green just complete the first step in all troubleshooting and restart the game. It turned green right away on the second attempt.

And its mutant me. My god I look like a character from the Toxic Avenger. Re-scanning.

Second attempt was worse. I look like something that would have scared me in any horror flick

This thread is awesome. The screwups are hilarious but when done right, the Facescan is one of the coolest things I've seen. I'm really fascinated with seeing the real life face versus the video game re-creation. I just wish we could use our likeness outside of MyCareer.

It's possible to have 13K points...... but i have to do this again because im not satisfied with the part of left face...a bit dark..like there's a burn....just need to put extra lightings (this just under natural light)

I think a simple horizontal red line going thru the green box indicating where your eyes should be would virtually eliminate the improper alignment issues.

lol I've tried this a handful of times now. It usually doesn't even recognize that my face is in the square at all. But two times when it did, it just came out as an ogre looking thing. The third time it started working seemed like the best bet since it was getting over 1000 points... then it crashed at 75%. I didn't realize it would be this amazingly hard. lol

Tried today before work and failed again. Looked like melted plastic. Even in my fail in daylight I couldn't get more than 2200 reference points. Not sure what's going on.

finally got my scans to start looking decent. Its funny I played around with about 6 lamps and my scans were terrible. My scans started looking good when I turned off all of the lights and used the day time light.
