    Don't tell Tiger Williams that:


    He forgets that he played in an era where you could skater slower than Jason Allison and Dave Andreychuk's love child and still score 20+ a year.

    I love 80's and early 90's hockey, but back then, because of the slower pace, most goons could still keep up with the play.
    Not anymore. Keeping slow dinosaurs on a roster simply so they can fight (which does absolutely nothing to protect players and change momentum) is moronic.
    But despite that, Brian Burke still finds a way to keep a job in the NHL.

      Correct. Tiger Williams forgets that Tiger Williams himself averaged 20 goals per season. Colton Orr has 12 goals in 476 games.

        Thanks both of you for this short history lesson. It's real pleasure for young hockey fan as myself to be able to read your thoughts and experiences.

        And yeah, just 1 sleep and hockey is back

          Not every team. Here is Shawn Thornton's replacement, Bobby Robins. 82 fights the last 3 years. #BBB
