ONE MORE TIME!

With that said, I'm proud of the Natspos for carrying on the Barves' tradition of making the playoffs then not doing a damn thing. Good looking out, DC.And may thy spirit live in us, Forever LSU

I like the Giants in 6…Cardinals will be a tough out, but I think the Giants have a better team overall."People ask me what I do in winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring." - Rogers HornsbyComment

Re: 2014 NLCS: San Francisco Giants v. St. Louis Cardinals
Let's see, we got a team that uses black magic, and a team that wins it all every even year. Who the hell wins this? I think it goes 7, and the Giants take it, but then again these are the Cardinals.
You give the Cards 5 cents, they make 500 dollars out of it, And can I pick against a team that has a guy like Matt Carpenter, channeling his inner Stan Musial? And what if he goes even further and turns into Reggie.
I really wanted the Dodgers and Giants. So go Gigantes!Comment

Re: 2014 NLCS: San Francisco Giants v. St. Louis Cardinals
I'm pretty much in that boat. It's tough for me to get excited about watching the only two NL teams to make the World Series since 2010 play over who gets to make the next one. I guess I just like seeing new teams. But sports don't always work out that way.Comment

4th straight trip to the NLCS!!!

I see this series going the distance. As long as we can keep finding that timely hit/hr, and our staff keeps pitching the way it did (outside of Waino who clearly had the worst start of the NLDS) I like our chances to the Series for the 2nd straight year.
And yes, I'm rooting for a rematch of the '85 series.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

I don't really care who wins this though I kinda hope it's St. Louis. A repeat of the '85 World Series would be fun to see.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

I keep hoping the ground will open up and swallow the Cardinals but since I don't see that happening I just hope the Giants win this series and go on to face the Royals.MLB: Chicago Cubs
