You should go back and read your posts from The Show threads...you(and anyone) will see exactly what I mean....and the parallel to "your friend" Moes post quite "funny".

Are you basing this off of just members here at OS Forums? If so, let me explain to you from a long time member standpoint of view as i been a member here for 12 years now....there are a lot of very very finicky almost childish kind of members here with a lot of their gripes and dislikes of this game and any other sports game tha that has its own sub-forum here at OS Forums.

One thing i learned here after being here so long is that people want their sports games tailored to their own liking "OR" they read someone else negative slandering feedback and literally get hypnotized off it and from that point on their eye's are totally focused on that specific bug or problem in the game, even as minor as it may be...they will make it a mountain out of a mole hill.

Long story short - Enjoy video games for what it is, not what it's not. Dont fall for negative people or negative comments you read in here from personal opinions because its nothing but their own opinion and once you start feeding into that BS ...it'll suck all the fun out of every game you play. Do NOT get into the habit of dissecting and putting a videogame under the microscope like so MANY members here do...i mean they literally pop the new game in and put it under the microscope searching for bugs, flaws or just any negative thing their eye's can find because they are already set to look out for negative BS, its a bad kind of mind-set to have ..its simply non-sense and all you gotta do is look at each member's history of posts that are posting harsh negative feedback and i guarantee you the majority of their posts are all like that. Dont get me wrong, there is a place for constructive criticism and we need to share our thoughts on bugs, flaws, etc and what can be improved....I am simply talking about the posts with harsh bashing of a game or portions of a game...

The reason why i say all this is that i use to be like that a lot...i was so caught up on expecting perfection and a bug-free game that i would pop in the new game and just go looking for every thing that i didnt like....rather than popping in the game and just enjoying it for what it is.....Im telling you man, you seem to already have a strong position on your aspect and opinion of the game...that is good, keep it that way because i am telling you man...it will never stop here at OS Forums....this place is notorious for whiny-type, bashing feedback of games and people that only looking for bugs, flaws, and all negative aspects of sports video games.

Like i said...enjoy the games for what they are...no game will ever be perfect and no human is perfect so there is no way a game will ever be perfect but i get a feeling some people around here expect a video game to be and play as smart as the real sport...and that just baffles me.
          Ummm...quick question...you've been a member for 12 years now...but your join date is 2013.

He's quoting someone else's post without using a quote box. I made the same mistake the first time he posted that. But I have little doubt this isn't his original account.

Re: Despite Its Issues, NHL 15 Is Still a Thrill On-Ice

I went back and played another game.

One thing that does really stand out with this years version is how skating and the shots feel.
For me....these two portions of '15 stand out and they did a really nice job with it.

I saw someone post about shutting off auto backwards(for skating).....I'm overlooking it....can anyone point out where that is?
              Thanks.

No problem me to but I mentioned it in a Pm and maybe in my slider thread and I also reported it with the button flag thing .

Basically it all started in a penalties thread for NHL 15 T that turned into theres no penalties in NHL 15 so after I was made fun of attacked and called names for no reason other than disagreeing and the trying to help.

I then even went out of my way to prove it when asked to with multiple many many box scores and how I played and I believe I was also asked to post slider set so I did that and then one of the guys I blocked started calling me a liar in my own thread without posting any proof which is when you got involved .
But here the link below that I reported and me and Jake are fine now as I also probably had a defensive attitude do to the whole there no penalties thing and a angry Frankenstein mob after me .

                      http://www.operationsports.com/forum...penalties.html

same issue with linking it but here it is in bold by jake19ny on page 7 of the penalties thread that I reported 3 times.

Lol. Sham wow, as I have taken to calling him, is nothing more than a troll. He blows up several threads with the sane nonsense over and over. He is lucky Al Tito appears to be an easy going guy because Sham totally hi-jacked his slider thread posting his own sliders (which he claims are the best but have changed a dozen times since) which has historically been a no-no to do. I have no problem with someone posting constructive and helpful info or even enjoying the game but he has lost all credibility. He has gone from maxing sliders, to superstar, to default, etc etc and each time the game is the best ever. Has anyone noticed that each time one of us responds about lack of penalties he posts the greatest game ever and the number of power plays he gets goes up each time. It's a flat out lie. He is either mentally ill or a douche. If he was for real he would create his own slider thread and post his nonsense in there instead of over posting the same idiotic crap in several threads. I'm sorry I don't usually call anyone out and for the most part everyone on here are good guys but Sham Wow is just an annoying troll EA fanboy.

It's under controller settings. It might be between Visual and Gameplay as you scroll across, but it's been a while and the menus are, uhhh, less than intuitive, to be polite.

I admit my impressions are all based off of watching various videos, and i try to indicate in all of my posts that that's what i'm working off of. So, i don't have a grip on the actual game play, but looking at it, i don't see too much different from NHL13-14, etc. I definitely see small changes, but the majority of things that have been slowly wearing down my enjoyment for years remain.

I would love to play it, but i'm not going to chance spending $60 dollars for what they are offering (Not to mention the $400 to buy a new system) just for the sake of confirming what I've seen.
I got burned by NHL14 after saying "Well, I'm sure patches will fix it. NHL13 was frustrating, but NHL14 has potential.". I've invested too much hope in EA's NHL team, so now i'm waiting for them to actually prove they can make something meaningful (To the things i hold important, which others may differ on. I don't begrudge anyone from enjoying the product.) before i give them my $60 again.

No problem and I understand your frustration but I have always been able to make the EA NHL series work for me and sure its not easy as you gotta gimp the hitting that causes all the tilted ice .

I just wanted to be sure what you were basing your impressions off of and while things might have looked similar when NHL 15 came out puck and player physics were very organic , interactive and responsive when actually playing the game as it was night and day from last years game .

There was none of that scripted feel many speak of as it all came out smoothly but since last weeks updates its went back to the prior NHL games boosted programming.
But worse than that it very blatant whats happening as my last 6 games almost every goal and now even penalties were generated that I had little or no part of and this was off the V100 tuner so it now pretty clear its what EA patched .
