So after updating madden 15 with the patch in order to have the patch work in CFM I'll have to start a new CFM right?

Some people are having trouble getting onto the EA servers after having downloaded this patch. Anyone in here have this issue?

Anyone notice in owners mode if they fixed it so you actually have money to sign players now. I had heard that was a major issue when using owner mode so I didnt ry owner mode, hoping this is fixed so I can play owner mode.

Glad to see stats get tweaked and if owner mode is fixed I will love this game/

Owner mode wasn't touched.

For those experiencing the post-game freezing issue, try this if you control multiple teams/characters:
- sim one team's Game Prep. Even if you actually did it already, tell the game to sim it anyway.
- Save.
- Go to other team and do/sim Game Prep. Play that team's game.

Once you sim one team's Game Prep and save before switching to second team, the CFM shouldn't freeze post-game for that session. I've gotten through a full season without a freeze since I heard about this. If I screw up and forget this process though, freeze city.

Maybe the save stabilizes the file somehow?

Thanks for the answer. Well that sucks that they left owner mode untouched, considering it sounds like its broken to the point of being unplayable. I hadnt touched owner mode yet since I had heard it was broken, but I guess I will try it out now for myself, and if I run into problems I will just switch it out to coach. Really had hoped they had looked into the issue with owner mode.

Owner mode definitely FUBAR. Going into week 6 with Vikings owner mode post patch. I have two QBs injured so I need to sign another QB for depth going into the next weeks game.

No funds available-cannot sign! If it's in the game......lol.

Had to switch back to coach and that's where I'll stay until it comes time to build a stadium next year (which EA didn't bother to include ala the Niners stadium in M25). I'll switch to owner, build the stadium, then switch back to coach again for as long as I can stand to keep playing.

Sad to say, this Madden is losing its luster fairly rapidly, just as all the other EA football offerings beforehand. I am just so tired of inventing work arounds for all of EAs perpetual shortcomings.

That's so crazy I'm in my 2nd season of my owner mode and I have $29.2 million in funds so many players with that problem but not me

What team are you playing as? Good teams like the Steelers or colts make money no problem. The owner mode falls short when you pick a bad team. I have cfm going with the Washington team and the raiders. Both started with 7 mill each. End of the pre season Washington has 15.7 and Oakland has 4.2

That's why. The Cards are set up well in Owner Mode; stadium is fully upgraded, market is huge. One of my teams is the Cards, after year 1 before playoff income boost (team was 6-10) I still wound up with $6 mil.

Teams like the Vikings or Raiders, on the other hand, are completely different stories. Smaller markets, crappy stadiums (I hear TCF Bank is nice IRL but its a college venue) and it's really difficult to make $ without some serious roster surgery to purge bloated contracts.
