Let's have a thread again just for domination mode.

I was able to get 811 points yesterday, here are the stats but not sure how it's calculated.

Has anyone got gold players from the 3 star packs?

Reb, blk, and stl = + 6
ast, and fast break score = +4
Dunks and 3pt = +3
Lay ups and fg = +2

That's all I remember haven't been able to play MyTem since Tue.

Post move scores are worth 5 points. You also get points at the end for fg%, ft%, 3pt% (1 point per percent on each), second chance points, 3 pointers made, and a few other things. If you look at a score screen it tells you everywhere you got points.

I've gotten 1 gold player and the rest silver from the packs and just finished the Timberwolves.

Also, that's a great score. I can always get in the 600s and sometimes 700s but haven't gotten to the 800 mark yet. What's your strategy?

819 here. I started four gold players and one silver. Key is just to...dominate. Be efficient and get a wide margin of victory.

I really like that you don't need to use all bronze this year.

Is anyone else having an issue where they can't advance? I have beat the Rockets twice, even got 902 MT points one game on them but when I go back to the main MyTeam menu it is like I never played them and doesn't give me the 3 stars.

It gets easier once you get some decent players. 700-800 points isn't that difficult to be honest. After you get used to the gameplay, you'll start blowing out team by 20+ points pretty easily.

I have played about 11 games so far. 10 silvers and 1 gold player (Rudy Gay!) who's a beast in this game, especially going to the hoop.

Yes, I've had that a couple of times. I assume it's because of the servers being crap right now and it fails to update your status to the server.

I've had to repeat a couple of rounds but eventually I was able to get through.

I JUST GOT THREE STARS ON THE PISTONS DOMINATION MODE GAME AND THATS BEEN DISCREDITED ALONG WITH MY PRESEASON WARMUP CHALLENGE VICTORY! THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE I DEMAND MY CONTRACTS BACK

It doesn't affect them, no, just costs more in contracts.

I'm so bad at MyTeam. I started a gold and 4 silvers and still couldn't even beat the Jazz. Got enough MT for 3 stars though! Too bad you actually need to win this year.

Any quick tips for someone inept at the winning part? I know how to get enough MT points at least.

Received Melo in a three star pack which was really crazy. One thing people might mess up on is free throw rating. You can get a possible 100 points, and I've missed packs because i was like 2/4 from the line for only 50 points. That and fast break points would really boost your score.

Just swing the ball around and hit the open man. Make sure you have a wing player that has a good ST3PT rating. If you run a few screen and rolls, and move the ball, you can make it rain 3s. I average about 10-15 3s/game, and thats using 1 gold (Rudy Gay), 2 silver (my bigs), and the rest bronze.
