offline vs online CFM for one player

So I just recently picked up madden for ps4 and was wondering what are the advantages/disadvantages of starting cfm offline vs online for one player. I know one advantage for online is that fixes can applied to it without waiting to need for a patch. For offline the only real advantage I can think of is that if I dont want to be online or cant be then I can still play my cfm. Is there really anything else to consider?

Saves - online is autosaved so no going back. Offline you can save SIM forward, play a game, run your draft, whatever and if your not happy with it you can go back to where you save. It also does and autosave but you can load your manual save form the point you made it.

Also, you can stop in the middle of an offline game and finish later, I might be wrong but I don't think you can do that online.

Does any which one play better? Or is the gameplay the exact same... I know they put out an update earlier through tuners but I don't know if they helped issues like sacks

The biggest pro of online single-player CFM, for me, is that simming ahead is insanely fast.

But beware: You can't retire your "user" and start a new career with someone new. You have to transfer commissioner duties before they let you retire, but since there are no other users to transfer duties to, you're stuck. So if you start as an owner and get bored and want to drop down to coach, or take over another team you cannot.
