Paid $60 for things to be wrong?!?

Steve Kerr is still on the broadcast team AND is head coach of the Golden State Warriors?

The rosters arent even updated? Kevin Love not on the Cavs?

I am actually mad about these simple things that should be taken care of when I spend the money to get a "new" game.

I play on xbox 360 and I get that its considered "last gen" but that is crap too. Why arent all 2k15 games the exact same no matter what platform or gen they are on?

Steve Kerr hadn't accepted the Warriors job when he finished recording his lines for the game. By the time he took the job it was too late to get rid of his commentary.

Because unlike next gen, last gen can't process such graphics or hold as much information, its all about updated technology, if last gen could do what next gen could, why even buy next gen?.

The game is great, the gameplay is majorly improved and online is way more competitive, one of the best 2ks so far, don't judge it by little details and play the game first, you have to download the rosters from 2k share, steve kerr did the lines before becoming a coach like the guy above said, so what little things are left to complain about? the major thing which is gameplay is fixed, if your complaining about things being wrong in this gen, you clearly haven't seen next gens lol they have it way worse with all the problems.

I would think since they are able to update commentary thruout the yr that they could remove him if they wanted in a patch. Maybe Im wrong cause I dont know much about or anything really about programming, but I would thinj they could remove him if they choose too.

thats not my problem! don't you agree they should worst case patch over that and even just take him out? While I would like them to have gotten a third person two people on broadcast this year would be better than Kerr on it.

And wait, so your telling me 2k didn't plan ahead once they heard Kerr was getting looked at to be a coach? Once I heard the first Kerr rumors to be a head coach there was never was a time I thought where I thought he wouldn't get a coaching job somewhere ya know?

              "unbunch my panties" cute.

I shouldn't have to download a roster off 2k share that is not produced by 2k. Isn't that what I paid 2k and EA Sports for when I bought the $60 game? I thought I paid for them to have correct rosters and a real game. Don't think Kerr will be on TV calling any games this season

once again not my problem. 2k can patch other things why not have the patch ready for when everyone bought the game on Oct 7

Rosters are updated sir, atleast for ps3, 2k should have an official roster download file in 2k share for you to download, as for kerr, i don't see whats the big deal, gameplay is improved and thats the main thing you should worry about, but its your decision to noy buy the game cause of steve kerr...

2K made that roster/it's an official roster...

Like people said, Kerr took the job way late in the dev cycle. I believe he's in all versions. You just can't re-record thousands of lines for one patch, and who would do it in short notice?

You're expecting a bit too much here.

Re: Paid $60 for things to be wrong?!?

I hate to say this, but the OP has a point. $60 for this game for old gen is by far a total slap in the face to every loyal user and customer and it's nothing short of robbery. Now I say this with these points in mind since I got the game at midnight of the release date.

It clearly states when you upload the game, rosters are accurate of August 3, 2014, so that clearly was 2K's cut off date. Understandable, we all could agree right? So is it wrong for us to expect that when 2K does its first roster update that all player movement that took place from August 4th to October 6th should have been taken care of? Instead what the October 7th roster update gave us was any trades that had taken place in that August 4th - October 6th time frame was updated, BUT then 2K does something that it had no reason to do and that was remove 5 players that currently today are on a teams roster. Mike Muscala (Atlanta Hawks) and Lucas Nogueira (Toronto Raptors) and Grant Jerrett (Oklahoma City Thunder) have been removed and why?

There are 9 players who have "retired", some like Brian Skinner have been retired for the past 2-3 seasons, why does he remain in free agency? If you could remove Tracy McGrady and Metta World Peace then why is it so difficult to remove Brian Skinner? They removed Al Harrington (who is playing in China this year) so obviously to remove or hide a player isn't a daunting and time consuming task right?

Why is it that the XBOX One roster set and the XBOX 360 roster set have 17 players, yes I said 17 players not available to XBOX 360 users? The 360 console can very well handle the 17 players that are included in the XBOX One roster set or update, otherwise how do you rationalize having over 100-200 CAP slots for users to use, 17 players that are actually on rosters currently, the console isn't equipped to handle that data?

Then lets move on to coaching staffs. Last time I checked Johnny Davis didn't have twin brother named Lloyd Pierce who is the assistant coach of the 76ers and by the way Johnny Davis isn't on Byron Scott's coaching staff, that should be Paul Pressey. Sam Cassell is no longer a member of the Wizards coaching staff and was never Randy Wittman's lead assistant so having him in that position is inaccurate as Cassell is a part of Doc Rivers staff in Los Angeles, and speaking of the Clippers, Kevin Eastman is no longer on the bench, he is in the front office and Mike Woodson should be in the assistant coaches role. Last year I could swear that Patrick Ewing was the associate head coach for the Bobcats and Steve Clifford and I haven't heard things have changed to where Stephen Silas is the new lead assistant, again, there is no excuse for these errors. Ime Udoka is not even the second assistant on Popovich's staff for the Spurs, Jim Boylen is the lead assistant.

Steve Kerr doing play by play doesn't really bug me although I do think I will find it weird when playing the Warriors that Kerr will give his opinion and his take on Kerr and his coaching style.

See, whenever these issues or these errors are so out in the open, we call 2K and the developers out on it and in return we usually get the "company line" response, but see that doesn't fly when you have people spending $60 for a game that you spent little or no time attending to and charging $60 for that is wrong.

I like everyone else paid $60 for this game, whether it was on PS3, PS4, XBOX 360, XBOX One or PC and like all the other users with those other consoles I expect to get what not only was advertised and publicized but what you as a company stake your reputation on in the basketball gaming world. No matter console a user has the rosters should be the same across the board and if not then dont come out the "company line", tell us why it is not possible to put those players in the roster set or why it's not allowed at the current time.

If you don't have an answer then don't go charging $60 when you know that you didn't improve or fix anything from the last version of the game for that console.

Like dropping the old gen versions to $40 is going to hurt your bottom line, especially when you bumped the PC version of the game from $20 to $60 this year.

There will come a day 2K when you won't be getting $60 for your game because people will probably rather go and get the NBA Live edition, even if it isn't as snappy as your product, but at least it what it was marketed to be as and people will not feel cheated or slighted in the long run.

I agree Eaglerock, why is ps4, xboxone the same price as last gen, obviously the newer consoles should cost more and last gen prices should drop, since all the development is now going towards new gen, still makes me sick they can add a fadetop on Swaggy P but not Jimmy Butler, I could do a better job !!!

Am totally satisfied with the game for 60$ its got better gameplay, new animations, better online, its a great game, i didn't expect anything from last gen because they didn't release any news, they only said bettet gameplay, new animations, 2k heroes and crew, if you expected anymore than that well, just know there was no confirmation so you were already risking it, for me, these are all small details that i really don't care about when its compared to having bad gameplay or exploitable animations, but i guess since we got those 2 things improved, the little details have to come to the spotlight now lol, am totally fine with you guys wanting more, am just saying, they didn't really promise anything aside from what they mentioned, so you pretty much bought it at your own risk, by not releasing any info they pretty much said "buy at your own risk and don't come complaining us because we didn't promise anything", they give us the big middle finger pretty much, am happy with game though, better than i expected.

YES but they didn't tell us "we'll put in generic Euro players from the teams not in 2k14" If they are licensed and agreed to be in the game, they should be represented correctly.
