Re: NBA 2K16 Wishlist Thread
This is my wishlist:
1. Better player models (that's plural)
2. Better player models (that's plural)
3. Better player models (that's plural)
The current player model (that's singular), simply put, sucks. The skinny, girlie arms look ridiculous on many players such as Bosh, Noah, Parker, Goric, Lillard, I. Thomas, etc. (too many players with the girlie arms). The ONLY players with that skinny of arms are Durant and maybe Corey Brewer (and even their arms aren't that skinny). The skinny arms just look cartoonish on anyone else.
More body types would much better represent their real life counterparts. Faces look great, but using the same player model for all the players is archaic. Right now, every players in 2K have the same physique (with the skinny arms and the pointy shoulders). Marc Gasol should not have the same body type as Dwight Howard, Andre Iguodala shouldn't look like Corey Brewer, Zach Randolph shouldn't look like Blake Griffin, etc. I want to be able to somewhat recognize different players physiques. Zach Randolph with the thick, no neck, upper body and the chicken legs; Dwight Howard with the small head, massive shoulders, and superhero type body, Jermaine O'Neal with thick but very narrow body, Big Baby who's got a body like a lineman; Anthony Davis who's got super long limps, etc.
In MyPlayer and CAP, why is weight just a number? We can adjust player's height, and the player become taller/shorter. Yet, adjusting weight doesn't do anything. A player weighing 350lbs looks exactly the same as a player weighing 150lbs. Why even have weight listed if it doesn't reflect how the player looks?
I want to be able to create players that look like Manute Bol (super tall and skinny), Karl Malone (huge muscles), Oliver Miller (very fat), David Robinson (lean and ripped), Kevin Durant (skinny and soft, 2K already has this covered), etc. Thickness and length of different body parts (head, neck, shoulders, chest, waist, torso, arms, and legs) should all be adjustable to achieve this.
