It also helps hit targets behind cover and targets can't run from the grenade. Didn't find much use for the light trap like DOT grenade, didn't even try the last one because I am completely blank as to what PvE enemies have as specials (maybe it's a PVP centric grenade?).

Increased Height: Same as Striker, height seems much more useful in general than the burst or control.

Blessing of Light (Weapons when requested, say at a raid boss or whatever): The shield gain is really useful in single PVE, I find it better than the Weapons since I can use it as a kind of heal. I have a Saint-14 helm, so inside the bubble I am safe anyway because it blinds enemies that enter the bubble, but I never saw the need for the increased armor while inside bubble since nothing penetrates bubble anyway.

Unbreakable: In instances where I am trying to melee things, I am not on a team so creating orbs is useless, meleeing during a raid is just going to get you killed (doesn't hit near hard enough to be viable). So the shield is the only one useful for regular PVE and during raids and things, if something is close enough to get punched I probably need the extra shield. Reloading my Shadow Price has fast reload on precision kill, so it's typically always reloading that fast anyway.

Codex I: Maybe it's just me, but I don't find the agility stat to do much. My speed on my defender is as low as it goes and I hear people say we need to have high agility to keep up during the Gorgon maze, but I am just as fast moving as everybody else. Also don't see a difference jumping. I've tried doing mock tests on my own, setting agility as high as I can and as low as I can and don't see the difference.

Bastion: When I pop the shield, I need it, and the longer it's around the more useful it is. Creating orbs of light might be good in certain situations, but mostly the bubble lasting longer is preferable. Never tested how much longer it stays up, maybe I should do that.

Codex IV or V: I don't recall which of these I have, I know my armor and recovery are both equal and nearly maxed out though, and it's definitely not speed.

Illuminated, Untouchable for raid when I remember: During regular play, I don't need the bubble much, so it's almost always loaded unless I just dropped into a map. During the raid, getting my super up quicker is a boon to my survivability.
    Awesome, very helpful. Thanks.

I have that helmet as well, but also have the exotic chest armor that grants much faster revive time. I switch between those two builds depending on what makes sense. I tend to play more the healer type, so I use the chest more often.

I have yet to do the raid, but I am itching to. The group I usually play with is only 3 deep. We are all 28s and are one of each class.

Maybe I should play clash, I get about twice the kills there, it's just soul crushingly boring (so is control, but at least control you are doing something other than killing others, so it's slightly less so, but then you don't get points doing that). Just the thought of playing that much crucible makes me want to quit.
yeah, I just don't find Crucible that much fun. I want to max out the crucible marks so I can buy/disemble gear for Shards/energy, but only getting 3 or 2 marks per match, that is a lot of matches. with Vangaurd Marks, you can max that out really quick with Strikes, public events, Dailies/weeklies, ect.

Crucible marks can be gained by selling mats to the quartermaster. Equip a cult bond and you gain rep with them as well. That's a lot of farming just to disassemble for parts though.

Speaking of that buying from cults. Has anyone purchased or seen any armor from any them? Specifically, one of the FWC Warlock robes.

I want to know if they have a huge symbol on the side like the Queen's robes do.

Been inspecting people for a few days in the tower and can't find anyone wearing them and can't find a pic online anywhere. Only the preview pic from the vendor which only shows the chest of it.

5 for 50 is right. I've been at it for a couple weeks and finally reached 65 marks today (that's 650 mats I've sold! Lol) to buy the robes or gloves from FWC. Waiting to raid this week to see if one of those drops for me. Then I'm getting out of this queen's robe, the bonuses are worthless for my play style.

Bungie needs to add a mats vendor that sells mats and does all sorts of materials exchange.

yeah, there needs to be a way to sell weapon/armor parts. those are just stacking up as I'm not upgrading as much now.

Select the mission and choose a higher difficulty then it's default. Once you select the mission and it shows you in orbit, click the grey box that shows its level. You'll have other levels to chose from.
