I am pretty stuck in trying to decide whether to go the MyGM or MyLeague route. I enjoy some of the additional conversational aspects of MyGM but really get frustrated with the CPU Trade logic. If I had the ability to approve/deny all CPU trade in MyGM, that would probably be the perfect combination for me.

Have you guys seen a lot of issues with CPU Trades in MyGM so far? I have been waiting to start either mode until a solid draft class was put together.

Yea, I didn't like the trade logic with CPU trades - I think I'm going to stick to MyLeague.

Quick question about MyGM. Is it one of the modes you have to be connected online to play? I would hate to have one going, internet go out and not be able to play it.

Can the season be started at the midway point in My League like you could in the previous generation, where it essentially could start a season at the same spot the real life NBA was at? I missed that in last year's game

Are you able to turn off player roles? I feel like that has always ruined 2k's association. I always turn off the player roles but leave chemistry on. It seems like less players get upset with everything and players aren't just moved because they are unhappy.

Cause then you can't adjust your facilities, receive badges, handle player interactions, make team-based decisions, etc. I still prefer MyLEAGUE but there are definitely some pros to MyGM

There's a slider in MyLeague for morale difficulty and more effect and chemistry difficulty and chemistry effect.

That is the disappointing thing about MYGM. I wish you could do ever thing in MYGM and MYLEAGUE all in the same mode. I hate that in MYLEAGUE you cant set ticket prices. In MYGM you can do more things but you cant set those settings for like trade frequency and such. If they brought back the drills form ps3 and added a weekly warp up show and made all of the features of MYGM and MYLEAGUE then franchise mode would be perfect.

I did some testing last night and I also feel like as far as playing the games, myLEAGUE plays a little different than myGM. MyLeague plays a little faster and the scores are higher. In MyGM it felt like it was a struggle to score points. Players missing a lot of shots and making stupid passes and turnovers.

Maybe it's just me as I'll test it again but it just felt that way.

I just don't understand why they hadn't merged the two to create a single mode. Either way, I'd rather just play myLeague- it reminds me of the old Association Mode with the enhancements we've wanted for a very long time.
