Also why does the news feed not think big time players are worthy of being told they are retiring, after 2 seasons I thought awesome Peyton is still in the league, get to year 3 and he's in fact gone..........c'mon

No one comes out of retirement anymore? News Feed bad with retirees......
So far I am in year 3 now and have seen absolutely no one come out of retirement, just wondering if maybe that's random or its a fact that no one does anymore?

That doesn't bother me that much especially with how bad it was last year, a guy would retire and the next year he was back. It does happen IRL (James Harrison, Tony Gonzalez) but it's not nearly as popular as it was last year in Madden. So far I am in year 3 now and have seen absolutely no one come out of retirement, just wondering if maybe that's random or its a fact that no one does anymore?

I still don't understand why they no longer give a list of players that retire. As a coach or owner, I just have to look for players that vanish from my roster. It's absurd.
Although, it just hit me that it may show up in the transactions? Can anyone confirm if retirements are published there? If so, I'm dumb and I apologize EA.Comment

Yea it is there also..........just really annoys me then when someone like Peyton Manning retires it doesn't show up on the main news feed, little strange to me.I still don't understand why they no longer give a list of players that retire. Re: No one comes out of retirement anymore? News Feed bad with retirees......
I encountered a glitch with a player that retired. Trent Cole was on my team, San Diego Chargers. As soon as the offseason hits (I think 3 or for years into my CFM), he retires and in the news it says that he'll be going in the HOF.
During the following season, I look at the league leaders in sacks. Trent Cole is on the Eagles and is 3rd in the league in sacks!! He stayed on the Eagles for 3 or 4 more years, but never aged.
By the time he retired again, he had over 160 sacks.
Has anyone else encountered something similar?Comment

I could be wrong, but I think at the end of the season during off season things one of the first things Is a list of players retiring.I still don't understand why they no longer give a list of players that retire. Its under "Transactions". "Retired" is one of the filters you can use, along with like "Signed", Released" and stuff.Alumnus:
- Northern Arizona University
- University of North Texas
My teams:
NFL - Minnesota Vikings, Arizona Cardinals
NCAAF/B - Arizona Wildcats, Northern Arizona Lumberjacks, North Texas Mean Green
I find it amusing that the OS icon for NAU is 20 years (and three rebrands!) out of date.Comment

It was definitely one of the Maddens that came out a couple of years ago. It was great, you could pick whoever you wanted to play in the preseason. This new thing is ridiculous. Even if you play the same team every year, u switch from their home to your home.Comment
