Contact dunks with PG?

This is the first 2K i've ever struggled with doing any type of contact dunk with my PG. I already got the athletic skill one away from the max level so my dunking is already at 91 and my vert is 93 so I don't see what the problem is? My PG is 6'4 too so it makes no sense. I am playing on Superstar so idk if that has anything to do with it? Its just really frustrating that I cant posterize anyone whenever the opportunity is there and I really don't want to create a new guy.

I have the same issue. I think you need to earn a posterize/contact in the paint badge.

My dunks are always rimming out or slipping out of his hand even though my athleticism is way up.

I dunked on a center 2 times in the same game, never happened again since.
And my attributes were/are horrible.

Glad I'm not the only one lol. What is worse is when I cant do it against a smaller defender!! Especially one who is smaller than my player. It is taking the fun out of this game for me.

You can do it but there just wont be as many per game as last year. I have a PG with the same height as you and until i got posterizer id average at least like 1 or 2 a game. Also ive noticed you need to take just as the PF and C slide over as well. Also word of advice dont get derrick roses layup package. For whatever reason its bugged and makes you do his one layup animation a majority of the time.

Not only the dunks but layups too smh. Myplayer is 6'7 225 and if i get an inch of contact my drive layup will absurdly miss ,even against smaller point gaurds. Kyle Krover was "D" me up and blew past him and he bumped me slightly and i missed. I have just83 on driving layup and my athleticism is 6 away from being leveled out. IDW maybe its because im Superstar lvl still tho i believe it should be tweaked a lil.

I haven't peen having much problem getting contact dunks my guy is 6,5 190 PG

My friend just got posterizer with a 6'3 pg... meanwhile I cant get any badges besides personality.

See but thats what I'm doing. I usually set a pick to get at least the C out of the way or whoever is the tallest and get an open lane that should trigger it but i get a layup animation or my player acts like he has a 10 in vert. But worse when I have an open lane and there is a SG or another PG there it will be the same result which is really lame.

I've noticed that when i use square instead of the shot stick, that I never make my contact layups.

My guy is the the same athlete rating an height as yours, but I have Posterizer. It's easier to get contact dunks when the defender is beside you instead of in front of you. Even with posterizer you'll get hung or lose the ball most of the time if you try to go over a 4 or 5, unless they're in the restricted area.

See that's lame. I understand them wanting to take more of a sim approach this year with the game but at the same time we should be able to posterize anyone if that oppertunity is there.

Ok so I was playing just a little while ago and then this happens...

Seriously this is killing the fun factor for me with this game. This would have been a poster in any other NBA2K in the past but why not here? And this is Jrue Holiday who is the same height as my PG!!!

change from superstar to rookie (just for this badge) if its hard to get. keep doing P&R and turbo towards the hoop for the dunk.
