    Online Delay?

Is the online delay only for wireless users? I've been wireless for every 2k but this is by far the worst delay I've felt. Some people claim there is no online input delay, wondering if you are wired or wireless?

Really? I was debating going wired. Would have cost me $150.

Talking about wired connection, not controller.

so yeah i just tried wired connection and it was even worse the wireless lol i literally had no clue what was going on in the game.

seems like it doesnt matter if your wired or wireless you will experience delay either way so you may want to hold off on that wired connection imo.

wait for the patch to see if it fixes anything. Theirs no reason to waste your 150 and still be in delay

(i have verizon fios and my router is only a few months old BTW)

2k online head to head feels like u are playing on 30 speed. its unplayable and there too still too many missed open shots by great shooters.

Wired connections are usually faster but it doesn't matter what I try...online lag is terrible

Try using a power line adapter kit if you still contemplating on going wired. It will use your existing power line cable as a LAN instead of wiring your entire house with cables. It's much cheaper.
My room is in the second floor where my PS4 is, my router is downstairs and my WIFI signal can only go 50% max. Now my PS4 is wired connected thanks to this adapter. I'm using this TP-LINK TL-PA4010.

Today's online games are pretty impressive. I played maybe 30 online ranked games and they're pretty decent i would say. Unlike those days before....it was laggy as hell. But today, it's more than playable. I hope it will continue to be like this.

Hey thanks buddy, great tip! I had no idea something like this was on the market, and seeing as wireless connection is a no-go for me, ill finally be able to get rid of the 30m of cables I got wiring my house!

For the past few days, aside from a couple random discconnects, the game has been running smooth with little to no input lag. The more I play it, the more its starting to feel as good as the last gen 360 version online. I'm using a wireless controller btw.
