    Players unnecessarily falling...

    Anyone else seeing this?

Seems like it happens 3-4 times a game where you'll be playing D, you beat a offensive player to his spot, but you'll just fall back when they make contact, allowing him to score.

Same with players going up for a layup….it could be Rondo going up on Ibaka, and Rondo will knock Ibaka back like a bowling pin when he’s going into the start up animation.

What's the reasoning behind this? Doesn't seem ratings based at all...just random.

Right my players be like dominos, when it comes to playing defensive. I hope this get fix in a patch, because I never saw this before in a 2K game that happen so constantly.

I thought some of the falls were hilarious. Some look pretty serious and should be considered technical but it's still cool to see them.

Another thing I notice is that you hardly get called for charging. By that i mean all the charges seem to be computer generated and you hardly get called for playing good defense by taking charges. Maybe i haven't produced one but it seems it is pretty lacking.

The 'Invisible AI Bubble', I hate it. I haven't noticed the falling, but on the offensive end when I go for an slightly contested or even open layup and the ball goes flying out out of my hands across the floor into the stands.

Yeah it was funny the 1st couple of times. But when it started costing me my lead that's when I put my foot down lol. Same here every time I set a charge they just slide right pass me and score.

this happened in 2k14 alot too. The cause of this are the canned animations/lack of physics. Once a certain animation is triggered, it is inevitable that the full animation will carry out and anyone trying to prevent the continuation of this animation will be knocked over like a bowling pin.

Weight and strength are mostly none factors in this game. The best way to prevent this is to rotate super early and to prevent the animation from triggering.

I've seen this. Sometimes it happens during a dribble animation when they collide with me. It should be THEM losing balance, not me, especially when I have the size advantage. Doesn't happen enough to be a major problem, but it is consistent and annoying.

Is this where they barely get touched and just fall? I thought it was just some weird flopping attribute.....it's really annoying....

It's actually because a lot of players take charge tendencies are to high.

I think there may be a player tendency that controls this.

Not sure about current gen, but in last gen (judging by PC 2K14, don't have 2K15 yet) there is a tendency called "Crash" that determines how often the player falls down.

Are you sure? This happens to me mostly when I'm controlling the on ball defender. I remember this happening on 2k14 on 360 as well.

I think charging should only take play in the paint and against players that want to dunk. There is one time i know Lebron is going to dunk on me...so i am prepared to take the charge but he's still dunk over me. If this is NBA2k7....this would not have happened. Anyway, i don't know if i am late pressing the charge button or not. Anyone has taken and rewarded for taking charge in this game at all? I know 2k14's concept of taking charge is terrible, but they shouldn't take away and rid of charge completely for those who play great D. All of the charges are computer generated so far.
