    Collecting Cards.

So I completed my first collection (76ers. Relatively easy, no gold players).

My question is. Are people selling their collections after they've got the reward to make more MT to finish other collections?

Or are you holding onto collections and hoping to get them all?

I completed GS, PHI, and DET collections and sold them all. It's really up to you though. If you want the player keep him, if not sell him. I kinda wish I didn't sell mine because I was gonna make an All Time Laker team with Rodman, Richmond, and McKie, but I figure I'll buy them back for cheaper once more people complete the collections.

Thats really weird. I completed my Philly collection and the next two I plan on completing are Golden State (need 3 more) and Detroit (need 4 more) haha.

So you sold your Rodman as well as the entire collection? Did it help much with completing other collections?

Also, what's your top price for buying McKie? I'll sell you mines. I have no interest in using him tbh. It just seemed like an easy collection to finish.

I completed the Nets to get 25k

          then I sold, sold, sold

I spent probably 18-20K to complete.....netted about 5K or so from the 25k reward....then I sold most of the guys from the nets of value

          goodbye Joe Johnson
          goodbye bad ankles
Plumdog? Nah...I'll take 12k for you anyday....

I probably netted about 20-30K in pure profit w/o selling lopez

You also get rewards for collecting total number of cards, not just team collections.

Yeah. I'm thinking of waiting until I get 150, that's 10,000 coins right there. Then sell.

If you plan on going for diamond players that you get for collecting a certain amount of cards you shouldn't sell cards, otherwise sell them if you don't need them.

I'm keeping every entire collection I complete this year. With the MT bonuses you get for collecting cards, it's worth it.

I do plan on selling most of the legendary players you get for completing certain collections though as I can always buy those back when historic packs are released and they are at a much better price. I completed the Cavaliers and then sold Larry Nance for 21,000 MT and I doubt he'll be very much at all once the Cavaliers historic packs are released, so I feel like this is a good way to go about it.

How is it worth it? If the bonus is only 10k MT for every 100 or so cards, why would it be worth it to keep them?

10k is relatively nothing when you could easily sell one of the decent silvers in any team for 10k or more. I'm guessing each team is worth 25-30k at minimum.

I don't see the point personally, I would rather resell them all and get the MT back and use it for the next collection.

Yea I sold Rodman for 25k last weekend, just bought him back for 15k yesterday. And yea if you don't have a huge supply of MT coins, selling one collection to complete the next will definitely help. I was able to come across a decent amount of MT coins in a deal so I've just been collecting basically. I have Diamond KD as well so I just sell all the expensive players and just keep the cheap ones.

I plan on going after every card, so I'm keeping them. I've completed 10 teams so far and have almost 475 total cards so hopefully I can get the 500 card bonus today!

Sick! I just got the 500 bonus last night. I'm at 513 now so I'm pretty much right there with you. Getting to 750 cards though for the next reward seems like it's gonna be tough.

is it really worth it right now though?...collecting I mean

The market for most of these players is at an All-Time high without classic players included....when a larger pool of good players becomes available it will dilute the value of a lot of these cards and make them much less desirable

I just don't see the allure in paying for silvers and bronzes with over inflated values to collect them and to sell them at a much lower price later on

For example....I invested 27-28K to complete the grizzlies

I got my 25K bonus....then I have sold everyone but Conley, Lee, Adams, and Prince....Everyone else sold for 42,800 combined....Conley will go for around 8K when he sales, Prince will go for 2000-2500, Lee will go for around 4500-5000, and Adams will probably sell for around 4000-5000 (lol)

The amount of profit I made from that single collection is the 250 & 300 card reward combined....once you get to around the 300 mark you are going to be seeing a lot of duplicates from packs or you will be paying top dollar for specific players in the auction house because the prices will definitely drop with the inclusion of more classic players/teams

I honestly do not believe that Mike Conley will be selling for 7-10k a month from now
